They can't hit as a team and their bullpen sucks. In the rare event they get some hitting from their offense their starting pitching implodes. Just not a good team. Can't see this team making a run with the quality of teams in their division. I'm inclined to say that KC is better than CWS right now.

The year the won the championship, all their starters had career years pretty much, and their bullpen pitched decent.

It's a combination of things. The bullpen was really the strength of the team in '05 with Jenks, Cotts, Politte and Hermanson (before he got hurt). Now the pen is a disaster with the exception of Jenks. The rotation was more consistent, and the offense was one of the best in the league, as opposed to this year, which has seen Dye and Konerko completely fall off the map. I also think they really miss Aaron Rowand.

Other than the Rangers, they might be the worst team in the AL.

They have lost like 17 out of there last 21 games, and are most likely going to be heading for a fire sale soon.

Have you seen it lately double B. No Thome and or Posednick sure don't help your chances in regards to scoring runs.
