tell you what, it worked the other night going against santana. These are all similar situations only santana should have been a shoe in considering his team dropped the game the night before also arizona colorado and brewers all coming off wins, so why not. Beside I could lose all 3 of them and lose 3 more on top of that to make profit. By some lucky chance I go 5-5 good profit but many nights I go 6-1 7-2 with all the teams most people overlook, remember 2 weeks back TB vs Detroit edwin jackson pitched, I was one of the few on TB if not the only person and it payed.

I like Webb +164, Davies +133.........this is baseball, anything can happen son. How bout J. Santans' last start against the Natties.

If you look at the numbers on Wang and Webb, it's pretty even.....not to mention AZ is 10 games over .500.

What else do you want in a dog? I say the guy comes out green tommorow with all those dogs.

I don't play that many dogs on a night personally, would be interested if you kept track AC of what your results are to see if in the long haul betting the dogs that heavy each night produces a decent profit or not.

I only bet dogs and I'm having a very good season. I'm convinced betting underdogs is the quickest way to profit in baseball. My goal each night is 50%. I'm rarely under that and if I do better than that, its a great night.

Only like Washington, Oakland, Kansas City, and Atlanta myself. Of those, KC and Atlanta are my favorites. Slowey's numbers are no where near an indication of his pitching so far this season. His true ERA is over 2 runs high than his actual ERA. Bannister is the league's best pitcher that no one knows about. Kennedy's numbers are a tad inflated, but that's good value against a struggling offense that is mediocre against lefties.

I see value in (though will not play) Arizona and Colorado simply because of the heavy public price on the Sox and the Yanks.

If I decided to play any favorites tomorrow, I would be on the Mets, Indians, Phillies, Angels, and Tigers.

There is a lot of fluctuation, but over the course of the week, I'm typically up an average of 1.25 to 1.5 units per day.

Keep in mind I don't play totals or runlines...

Sure you may get +160, but if you are most likely going to lose, then it isn't worth it. I would rather put my money on a small favorite like Escobar -135 over Arroyo or Maine -120 over Kuo then on something like that.

I hadn't really considered it much till I had seen you and AC both playing dogs more heavily. I had in the past played maybe 2 or 3 dogs on a day I really liked - but always seemed to be 1-2 or 0-3.

I will warn you though that playing dogs takes a toll on a person because you will handicap many games correctly only to see leads and big paydays blown in the 8th and 9th innings. This year has been worse than usual though...

At +160, Cook only has to win this game 39% of the time for the wager to be +EV. That's where the value in big underdogs come from. They are well worth the risk because over the long term, most are +EV.
