Go Under 9 (-120) with A’s, Bosox

Both of these teams are struggling offensively with the Under going 30-17 in all Oakland and Boston games combined, and runs should be scarce tonight with two hot hurlers going.
Runs will be at a premium here, as the Under is a combined 30-17 in all games played by these teams to this point.
The clubs are also throwing starters that have been razor sharp. Oakland's Chad Gaudin deserves better than his 1-1 record, as he has a stingy 2.54 ERA and has allowed just eight earned runs on 20 hits in 28.1 innings. The Under is 5-0 in his five starts. Boston’s Josh Beckett has very similar numbers with a 2.48 ERA, having allowed nine earned runs in 32.2 innings with an excellent 28/7 strikeout/walk ratio.
The Under was cruising at 4-2 in the 9th inning between these teams last night when Boston closer Jonathan Papelbon blew his first save in nine chances, allowing an unlikely opposite field homer to Travis Buck. That will not happen again tonight, and with both teams hitting .243 or less in their last seven games, the Under looks like solid choice.
