Jeremy Bonderman is in impeccable form right now, with 18 strikeouts and one walk in his last three starts, so look for him to build on his 3-0 career team record in Anaheim.

Jeremy Bonderman is off to a great start this season, and he has always pitched well here in Anaheim.

The Tigers’ ace righthander has a 2.25 ERA and a microscopic 0.86 WHIP in 28 innings this year! He has allowed two runs or less in three straight starts, recording 18 strikeouts vs. just one walk in the process. Bonderman also has a 1.80 ERA in his three career starts in this park, all of them Tiger wins.

With Kelvim Escobar owning a high 1.50 WHIP for the Halos, back Bonderman and the Bengals here this afternoon.

    Play: Tigers -115

I love how he forgets to mention Escobar's career record against the Tigers.

        Razz,

First of all I am laying off this game. But that aside, I really don't think that anyone's lifetime record against Detroit is relavent, because they were so bad all those years and suddenly became very good last year. Unless of course Escobar shut the Tiger down last year (yes, I am too lazy to look right now...LOL), in which case his success would hold some water.

Well, we'll see I guess. I actually just played the under (Bonderman's numbers against LAA are pretty impressive as well), but I would certainly think LAA is the only side worth a look in this game. Good luck!

                    bonderman

i know bonderman is a great pitcher, but i always seem to have bad luck with him...i never won any bets on him...i did win when i bet against him though.

however, all my intuition tells me to bet on the tigers, but i am still a little superstitious about it. hopefully tonight bonderman will win so i'll become less superstitious.

lets not forget this is escobars first start off being on DL. I knopw he has owned baby tigers before but last year his only game was still a 1 run victory only.

i like the tigers. think the price is good for bonderman and gang. pitchers also need runs to win... lets not forget that as well. all career stats aside its how these teams are doing now and detroit has had no trouble putting the bat on the ball these past few games. GL to ya.

everytime time i bet on you, you give out runs...already 0-3. game is not over yet, but tiger's chance of winning this win is about 5% at this point

angels 4-0, and this is just the first inning. how many innings are you going to pitch bonderman?

i know those runs are not bonderman's fault, but it seems that some pitchers just have bad luck. the best example that i can think of (other than bonderman) is daisuke m. he is a great pitcher, but last couple of starts the red sox just can't hit any runs. so sometimes when you look at start pitcher you have to think, how lucky is he. i like harang, halladay, b. webb, j. peavy, and verlander. they're good pitchers plus great run support whenever they pitches.

6-0 now. there is a million to one chance that the tigers can come back and win this. oh well, never bet on bonderman again.
