I like this play a lot tonight...Dave Bush has been steady lately, and this exact pitching match-up has already met twice this year. Wells vs. Bush...and the Brewers have won both of those match-ups prior to tonight's clash. No Soriano, no Milton Bradley...the Brewers got destroyed last night by the rival Cubs, and will be keen to get back on the horse tonight...I think Brewers +1.5...while the odds aren't great...is a pretty solid bet.

Backing the Brewers isn't a good bet. They rely on Prince and Braun too much and if Bush doesn't have his sweeping curve going he could get smashed. Guys like Kendall, Hardy, Cameron, Gamel, and Hart are streaky hitters without hitting for average. Bullpen in the 2nd half has been shaky. I'd rather stay away from two very streaky teams.

The Brewers are a streaky team...but they just got walloped last night...Bush has been steady...I think this is a bounce back game for them. I won't deny anything you said, nor would I disagree with someone wanting to stay away...but I'm backing the Brewers +1.5 tonight...this one will be close after the blowout loss last night. This is a rivalry game, Brewers need a bounce back here.
