The world of John Morrison (a.k.a. sham, carnival barker, marketing genius, fraud, etc.) was shaken Sunday night when the WNBA's Connecticut Sun lost the C bet and several JM followers committed suicide because they risked their life savings on the play. I lost $800 on that shit myself and I am not happy about it, but I should have known better because the Sun were one of the weakest JM WNBA plays all year.
But this game is not over, my friends (stay thirsty). On top of losing a women's basketball C bet, the JM system lost two MLB A bets last night with the White Sox and the Orioles. So what does all of this mean today? Another Morrison Twist!
I have to start by saying the following plays are totally high-risk and you are a system-playing-moron if you tail them. But nevertheless, after winning 73 certifiable units in the past 10 days, I am going to try to add 20 more $50 units in the next two days, starting with this card:
My plays for Tuesday:
$300 to win 300 on Baltimore Orioles RL +1.5 +100
$440 to win 400 on Connecticut Sun +1 ML -110
$410 to win 300 on Chicago White Sox ML -137
My parlay for Tuesday:
$80 to win 418 on ChiW ML, Sun +1 and Detroit Shock -2
There are many sub-plots to these wagers, and I won't bore you with all of them. But one of them relates to the White Sox raising the white flag yesterday when they traded away Jim Thome and Jose Contreras. To me, this means the remaining Sox will fight back like madmen to win their next game and prove that management was wrong to give up on them. I'll give them two games to prove their point.
Another one is the Sun, who caused this debacle in the first place. JM doesn't endorse D bets, but the Sun are a D bet nevertheless, and I plan to win back half of my losses by riding with them.
Baltimore was an unofficial JM play that failed to achieve v3 status when they lost to the Yankees. I'm counting on them to battle A.J. Burnett to the wire and win or lose the B bet by one run.
The Detroit Shock -2 play is a wild card tossed into my parlay because it is the best remaining bet on the books that I can see.
If all these plays hit (highly unlikely), I will achieve my 20-unit goal in one day (actually 28 units). But if that miracle happens, I won't rest until I play out the rest of the Morrison Twist plays tomorrow. And if I suffer more losses than wins, I will be back to throw down whatever units necessary to achieve my +20 unit goal in 2 days.
For better or worse, the dice have been rolled.
