He takes risks like this..that is why he does not mention he is down again... Had a parlay with massive favorites 1100 to win 300 that lost...he just started a new thread again after the first week of football season.

i think the line was 6.5 and he bought 8 points. buying the extra touchdown isn't necessarily a bad bet, just depends on the price you have to pay.

twins were -165 when he posted.

-165 = 1.606
-103 = 1.97
1.606(x)=1.97
x = 1.227 = -440

so the question is, is middle tenn st +14.5 at -440 worth it?

if i liked middle tenn st, i'd rather take my chances on +7 -110, but maybe that's just me.

paying -400 for a bet that's only worth -300 will lose you money in the long run.

but to each his own.

The parlay of Minny -165 and Middle Tenn +14.5 is a -103 bet, which is less juice than a typical side play. I'll take that anyday.

I have an NFL thread and an NCAA thread. The 7-team ML parlay is still listed in my NCAA thread for anyone to see. I would make that bet again with a healthy Sam Bradford.

Machine, I'm just saying that's a lot of juice to buy and still call it a true "Parlay". In terms of odds it's really just a straight wager.

I guess it depends on what you're willing to pay. I really liked this play and so I paid for it.

For what it's worth (which is nothing, since I'm not playing it) I also think MTSU +7 is a great play and MTSU ML is a good value play.

I think MTSU +14.5 is a lock, so I parlayed it with another play (Twins) that I would normally just play as a sides play. But since I didn't want to pay -165 for the Twins, now all I'm paying is -103. I love this.
