1. This is a 3 game chase. So, for a 4 game series, lets suppose game 1 does not qualify.But then, Game 2 of the series does. Do the remaining 3 games count as a chase?

2. Should LISTED pitchers be played, or ACTION?

3. Which sportsbook should we use for official closing lines on plays? This obviously decides if a series is played or not or if the ML or RL are played.

1. Unfortunately not. I never tried it but I could look into that and backtest it to see if its worth it. Also I saw some systems that the first game qualify and won and the second qualify also , they play a double dip for the 3 remaining games.

2. I prefer to play action since I'm usually not around at gametime and that way, it make sure that my play won't get cancelled.

3. We use pinnacle to determine the closing lines.

With this being the peak profit for the system and a $20 unit size
7.06 + 23.86 + 1 additional unit = 31.92 units on the line to reach peak profit ($638.40)

My suggestion would be to take the $638.40 divide it by 16 (current #s on the labby) and then you have

$39.90 x 16 so the bet size is a bit more manageable at 4 units a bet instead of 6 units.

I am not sure how the line has an extra 15 units on it unless I'm off about where the peak profit is at.

The labby test we were discussing failed pretty hard for the +1.5 RL. Just gets destroyed first two weeks of the season.

JM - what about an opener for the reverse of this system? Playing underdogs and using the Labby?

I would think this year would have been great. Mayb not so much in previous years.

Record 144 - 123 for this system for ABC combined. I don't think underdogs would do that well. If the underdogs for the link I posted went 99-83 but got destroyed with the labby despite the winning record due to the -153 avg juice then I don't expect much from the underdogs themselves. Maybe the RL would be ok if I filtered out sub 500 teams.

Teams like PIt, cin, wsh, det really drive the losses.
Records for the first two weeks I tested for these teams at the +1.5 RL
WSH 3-5
Tex 3-6
Sea 4-5
SD 2-3
Pit 5-5
Min 2-4
KC 3-3
Det 4-7
CWS 2-3
Cin 4-8
ARI 6-6

with the juice being -153 on avg these teams just destroy the system. Maybe better off just going favorites ML or RL, but I'll have to go back and test it. Right now I have no idea because using a 10# labby to test it as I was a couple of bad days where all teams lose with high juice can wreck any system.

There is probably something to just following top 5 teams with the labby, but not sure. Would have to change week to week I think and I have no idea how to test that.
