Kershaw vs Hammel
Hammel has a 7.02 era at home with a record of 2-3 in 10 starts! There are so many awesome stats about his home/night starts where do I start. At home he has a 1.92 whip and a .379 ba against!!! Dodgers do not hit a lot of hr's this could play huge into the dodgers favor by basehitting the guy to death. At night he has a 5.00 era and a 1.5 whip, this is awesome. We are facing this guy at his worst possible time.
Here is my problem, dodges have lost kershaws last 6 decesions. kershaw has only been responsible for 2 of those and the dodgers aren't hitting well lately, ok thats an understatement.
Doing some quick research the dodgers coming off a day of rest are an even 6-6 but on tuesdays they are 12-5. now colorado on tuesdays is 8-10 and coming off 8 games in a row after a day off, like they will be tomorrow, they are 1-5. i really like my odds there. i think they get tired. they have had a tough series against giants and will be mentally fatigued. they've played pittsburgh, cincy, washington, and chicago no wonder why they are hot! shit my softball team could be hot playing those teams. i vote for anywhere between 4-8 units on the game, its -120. i trust kershaw to do better not great just yet, but i am going with the dodger bats on this one to come alive andi if they score more than 4 or 5 runs kershaw will keep them in it.
if the rockies go into extras i like the dodgers chances even more. dodgers take 2 out of 3 at the least. a knuckelballer in colorado could be interesting but wolf has been nails lately. i'll keep this thread alive for all 3 games. if you have any questions regarding the dodgers i will try to answer them.
