F*ck you, Pay Me Leans for Saturday 8/22/09
Not much time left in the season and the lines of course are out of whack during this time of the year. But there are some goodies out there for the taking with a keen eye. Such is the case in the matchup between the Blue Birds and Angels matchup wherein Santana despite his troubles is listed as a favorite at the Rogers Centre where he is 0-2 in his last two performances.

The Angels have never seen Richmond which is a distinct advantage for the Blue Birds as by the time the Angels hitters figure out what he is doing the Blue Birds wil have scored 4 runs or more. The public has gotten used to playing the Angels because of their hot wood. But the hot wood is covering up other areas that are of concern going forward toward the playoffs, namely pitching. Blue Birds it is.

    Blue Birds+105

Lilly's gonna get rocked in a manner unlike any other in this game. The problem is that so is Haeger the rookie thrown in to spot start. Keep the suitcase by the door. The Cubs need a win very badly and the bats will be so f*ckin hot! I capped this game out to have double digit runs scored, so it is what it is.

    Dodgers/Cubs over 8.5

I don't think that there are fences that can contain what's gonna happen in Beantown on Saturday. This one has the look of a Limbo line at the plate. Tazawa is not ready for the Yanks lineup which doled out 20 runs on 22 hits in addition to Boston's not too shabby 11 runs on 12 hits. Obviously the wood is working now and any and all money you lost on the matchup at the stadium in Gotham taking the over will now come back to you in this series. The Red Sox were humiliated in the first game of this series a continuance of them getting blown the f*ck out by the Yanks. It may happen again...Don't know if I'm in on the JM play for this series. But love the total all series long.

    Yanks/Red Sox over 10.5

I was thinking that too Head_strong. I don't think the Phils lose two in a row to the lowly Mets. Even with Happ on the bump tomorrow!

I saw the wisdom in letting go of the Mets as a play upon further review. I got rid of the Rockies play as well because I saw 93% of the public on them and that's a no-no for me. So I'll just rock my totals and my one side with the Blue Birds. I have WNBA games, NFL football games as well and I was looking for any reason to get rid of a play or two. I don't like a lot of action.

man the cubs had 1 hit today and wolf (the pitcher) drove in the only 2 dodger runs and that was after a cub error! wolf and wells have been good but come on. both offenses are in a slump and not to be trusted! staying away from this one.

braves ml, cards rl carpenter will not give up a single run in petco at night!, and phillies rl love happ and an angry philies team coming off a loss. remember they are at their best on the road. i am also looking at the clev/m's game right now and i can't decide on the m's or the under. i really like fister. i just watche his last few games and he has great stuff. good 2 seem fb, plus change up, and a good curve. not to mention he throws strikes and gets ground balls. laffey is the wild card. i think the m's can get a few runs off him, their bats seem to be better the last few games.

I would take a small bet on OVER in this game and if it cash (hopefully) then pound heavy on UNDER for the next game.
I have a silly theory but it works for me often then not.
Pay attention on some of the teams that public love like yankee, dodger, phillies, boston, mets....to see who on Sunday's ESPN. Then I bet (normally big to heavy) agaist their recent trend in the series. My thinking in this series is this if today the OVER for RS/Yanks is cashed, tomorrow the whole World (ESPN is broadcast broader Internationally than TNT or FOX) gonna pound on OVER, I will on the side of the books. If OVER is not cash today, then I would just go small agaist public or eliminate the bet for tomorrow.
I know the way I explain is not very clear, but I hope you understand.

BTW, CK what do you think about OVER of the game Nationals/Brews, or do you think Washington can produce more than 4 runs today? Thanks

BTW, CK what do you think about OVER of the game Nationals/Brews, or do you think Washington can produce more than 4 runs today? Thanks
well im definetly taking the under on boston/nyy because 75 per cent of the time after scoring more than 20 runs combined they stay under the total.just letting u know what i think

One of the best movies of all time, this quote from the movie really sticks out to me:

                                                    Clark: Real tomato ketchup, Eddie?
Cousin Eddie: Oh, nothing but the best.

Well that factor (20 runs combined) scared me the most, secondly with 75% of public is on OVER too. But I still have a strong feeling this game will go OVER and tomorrow game is when the books take all their money back + some. I will join joe's side today for a small on OVER.

(4x) over yanks 10.5 - burnett did not like either trip to boston this year (11er in 7ip) and tazawa is nothing more then a long man/spot starter type with underwhelming *stuff* - the yankee bats should be all over him and the movement on this game is solid.
