    dear kevin gregg...
YOU ARE AWFUL, solid 9th blown save when up 1-0 in 9th and give up 4 runs....

last year you single handidly kept the fish from playing in october with 12 blown saves and you more then well on your way with screwing over cubs fans again

i wish someone would just pull a nancy kerigan on you already

YOU ARE AWFUL, and fix those shit mechanics and short arming bs and those gay glasses

i apologize for the rant but HAD TO SAY IT i complain EVERY GAME HE COMES IN and today staying up to watch it and seeing this abortion in the bottom of the 9th pushed me over the edge.

sorry again but this guy is just unreal HOW IS HE STILL IN BASEBALL, pay me the league minimum and i'll go out there and do EXACTLY what he does

I thought he only had 6 blown saves this year, FrozenMAN. Either way, he is the most godawful frickin' closer in the game. The Cubs will never get anywhere until they get rid of him as their closer.

They should've made Marmol the closer and Gregg the 8th inning man in the spring. Marmol would've thrived in that role and he really wanted it. He's got terrific stuff, too. Gregg is pure crap. p.u.r.e. c.r.a.p.

dude marmol is just as bad always ****in falls behind in the count then throws his shit slide piece and walks or hits the guy, both are awful

LET GRABOW or MARSHALL CLOSE UNCLE LOU, you have nothing to lose and cant afford anymore of these ****heads blowing games. go grabow 8th marshall 9th and any events that occur from the 7th onward, he can go 3 innings if you desperatly need it. heilman sucks balls too and smardizaja shouldnt even be in the big leagues with only 1 pitch, good thing he's sent down. maybe guzman, but he sometimes pulls marmol shit (they lok like twins) and gets into jams...... with all the money they spent they shoulda got a LEGIT closer like brian fuentes or huston street last year not that piece they did get...

and i thought he's super close to double digit blown saves, but i dnk maybe it is ONLY 6 but feels like its 100000000

HE SUCKS, i'm so happy someone took this bum off our hands in the FLA, but why did it have to be the cubs, WHY HENRY????

TEAM HAS BEEN SO FRUSTRATING all season and tonight was awful, plus buddy is like whats a lawk tonight im like cubbies and horrific loss results, i didnt bet them but it feels like i did, really ****in bad tonight.....

Marmol was on fire last year, but then the Cubs f'ed him over and traded for Gregg and made Gregg the closer. As Yogi Berra said, baseball is 90% mental and the other half is talent (okay, not exactly, but you get the point). Marmol was screwed over by the Cubs and his confidence shot out the window and sprayed all over the lawn. Every scout says that Marmol has lights out shit, but his lights out turned into lights on when the Cubs chose this wannabe-closer Gregg as their bullpen ace.

Grabow and Marshall are no solutions, either. The only shot is Guzman, who you compare to Marmol and for good reason: they are both better than Gregg and they are only in their mid-20s age-wise and have a lot left in the tank. Either way, Gregg is burnt toast and the sooner the Cubs realize that the better off they'll be.

It might be to late for the Cubs... If sweet Lou does not wake up soon...also they are to up and down...

                Biggest Cub mistakes in 09

                Signing Miles... getting Gregg...

                Letting Derosa go...

                Best move getting Grabow...

                Poor off season activity..

And their most bone head thing is...drum roll please...

Signing Dempster to a ridiculous $$$ long term contract... Now stuck with him!

The Cubs brought this crap on themselves....sorry!

I remember Eck too! Actually he pitched well with the Cubs as a starter... But Schraldi was terrible! No matter what they tried with him! I would guess the next job for Gregg is middle relief 6-8th inning...then if that does not work...mop up man in losses...and if that does not work...mop up man on the floors in the visitors locker room!
