I like the Pirates and the Tigers. But I think the Braves gotta break out and score some runs again soon, so I'm a bit shy of the Rays pick.

    Good luck.

Soroka started his second full major league season with an impressive no-decision against Jacob deGrom and the New York Mets on Friday, allowing just four hits across six shutout innings of an eventual 1-0 Atlanta loss. The 22-year-old, who didn’t walk a hitter in the opener and threw 48 of his 69 pitches for strikes, finished second in the National League Rookie of the Year voting and sixth in Cy Young balloting last season after going 13-4 with a 2.68 ERA across 29 starts. Soroka, who turns 23 in one week, has pitched to a 4.07 ERA in 15 career home starts compared to a 1.73 ERA in 20 road assignments.

He better pretend he's in Boston. GL to all.

Well, Charlie Morton is no slouch and this Ray’s team is very good. Best team I’ve seen so far. Wouldn’t count them out based off a Soroka’s home/road splits

Don't cap a game based on home/away stats. Every game should be treated like is played in a neutral site. No fans is a big deal.

                  Correct, home means nothing.

I believe it’s 35 wins On the road verses 34 home teams win. So early no home field advantage.
