What’s the angle on the Cubbies? I was thinking about playing the Reds with my man Castillo on the bump.

have noticed that teams coming off a scoring barrage at Coors Field tend to come out a little flat in their next series. Reds are already a free swinging lineup, and could feel confident after putting up runs in bunches. that will work against them when facing off against a pitcher like Hendricks who capitalizes on such hitters using that sinker ball to induce soft contact. The Professor happens to be one of my favorite pitchers in the entire league as well. I love guys that can command the game & keep the ball in the park. he does that at an elite rate.

the dog days of summer have gotten the best of me. I have started to lose some interest & it has reflected. need to regain focus and motivation soon or just let go until I feel ready to start treating this like a business again, instead of treating it like a hobby. gonna go for a run to see if I can tap back into that Super Saiyan mode. but Sosa? its raining outside dont ya know? so what. ill play Enter Sandman by Metallica on repeat & wear all my nice clothes. its my life. you think im scared of getting wet? yeah right. golden sombrero? yikes. the grind has thrown some haymakers at me all season, but ive responded each time. i was motivated to respond each time though. I can't say I feel that right now. the season is just so damn long. I will have to pick my battles more wisely going forward. for now, I will take a break. ill be back when I feel like I have something to show for. could be next week. could be next month. could be playoff time. we'll see. good luck going forward to the warriors still battling everyday.
