    6/4 recap

This guy Ryu is the best pitcher in baseball. Not even 3 errors could shake him up tonight. What a beauty that guy. Dodgers are the best team in NL. But I’ll tell you what, the Braves are not lagging far behind. They look really really good. The number on them tonight was insanely high, but I felt strongly about them getting it done so tried to find a creative way to get in on the action. Unfortunately Fried got slapped around & we lost but it was a strong play nonetheless. It happens. Took some swings today for the big bucks so to be down only 30bucks was well worth it I would say. We move onward. Might start riding the Braves. If some of their pitchers can rebound & get going again, that team looks fukking dangerous.

      Braves -121 / 242 to win 200

Only the second time this season I am gonna be doubling up on a play but I see strong value in this particular matchup. This is a battle of 2 teams trending in opposite directions. Pittsburgh just can't seem to find a steady hand. When their pitching is rolling, they struggle to get runs. When the offense is clicking, the pitching can't hang. Meanwhile the Braves have stepped up their game & look like a serious contender coming out of the National league east. They still got some issues to sort out with their pitching staff including Gausman who's going today after an embarrassing effort his last time out. But after digging in and studying his May starts, I feel confident in saying his previous outing was an anomaly & that he'll bounce back here. On the other side of the mound is Musgrave who has completely fallen apart since his hot start to the season. His pitches are lacking any conviction & he's barely generating any missed swings. With the way the Braves offense has kicked into gear, this is not the opponent to sort out any kinks with cuz they will make you pay for mistakes. Gimme the Braves here for the biggest cash play for me this season.

      Snakes FF +150 / 100 to win 150

A play on the 2 starters here. Maeda career home and away splits indicate he is more liable to get hit on the road then at home, which is strongly showcased this year as all his worst outings have come on the road. He doesn't have the best numbers at Chase Field in particular either & history shows Snakes have had his number. On the other side facing off is Duplantier who is a young pitcher that has tremendous upside. His numbers in the minors have been spectacular & he comes off his first career start after getting started in the bullpen to begin his rookie campaign. He pitches with no fear and even though the Dodgers have beat the skin off the ball this year, they've shown that they are human as it wasn't until Snakes bullpen meltdown last night that they were able to string together multiple extra base hits this series. Snakes starters have done a nice job keeping that lineup off balance and avoiding big innings. I like Duplantier to outduel Maeda but don't trust that bullpen right now to complete the job.

          6/6 update

Have been way off last couple days and looks like the skid continues here. Hopped off the Pittsburgh train to jump on the Atlanta bandwagon and they kicked me of that summa bish and made me eat dirt. Sheesh. Too many mistakes and not enough attention to detail lately. Was looking at one more possible play but I'm already staring at a platinum sombrero here. Might need to back off and recalibrate. The journey continues nonetheless. Update to record with 2 still pending.

            6/6 recap

Shitty day but much is learned. First fives have killed me this year. I will lay off those going forward. Pittsburgh has been a team I’ve rode all season & I turned my back on them for the sexy Braves. I cheated & that’s no good. That’s what I am most disappointed in. Will tweak the game plan & come back more prepared. Taking tomorrow off so this negative energy will pass by. Will probably go do some yoga and maybe go hiking in the morning. Listen to some Michael Jackson & dance on top of a mountain. Hell yeah. Excited to see if I can get myself out of the mud. Challenge accepted. Til next time folks adios.

                    Snakes TT O4.5 +105 / 50 to win 52.50

Snakes have been swinging hot bats lately and put up a franchise record number of home runs yesterday while scoring 13 runs total. They've seen quite a few sinker ball pitchers during their run and now match up against Arrieta who has been liable to mistakes all season, including giving up more hits and homeruns then ever before in his recent career. I like the Snakes offense to continue pushing on the gas here and put some numbers on the board

                    Reds +109 / 50 to win 54.50

After a couple rough starts, Castillo rounded back into form during his last start against the Cardinals where he overcame some early inning trouble and put together a nice run to end his 6 inning outing. He looked completely dominant for the final 3 innings of that game and was in rhythm with all of his pitches. I'm confident the Reds offense will put up enough runs to earn him the win after finally showing some life in a come from behind win against the Phillies their last game. It seems like Bauer has reverted back to his old form as he continues to struggle giving up significantly more walks and homeruns then last season, and may serve as a nice catalyst to revive this Reds offense that gets to add another bat in the lineup courtesy of the DH.

                    Bucs/Braves U10 -114 / 57 to win 50

This just feels like too high a number for 2 good pitchers on the mound who are starting to find their stride. This number went up from the opener of 9.5 and may be an overreaction to a high scoring game yesterday where Pirates were forced to insert subpar relievers after Musgrove was kicked out of the game and Gausman was on the hill for the Braves so a plethora of runs from the opposition was inevitable. Ill take the number here counting on a much lower scoring game then yesterday's opener.

Went away from throwing Benjamins and now back to hustling Grants on games. My bankroll is not that large at the moment and I just feel more comfortable doing this rather then potentially going too far into red and needing to reload. Like I said before, I am still learning how to bet long term and this is a nice way to practice discipline, which the lack of is part of the reason we are currently in the hole. I am looking back and studying my tracker and I see if I had maintained consistent plays to win Benjamins solely, I'd be up a couple units. But whats a couple units in this marathon long season? The lesson learned was of much more value, I think. Chime in if you have any thoughts about any of this or some solid strategies that you employ yourself, or even if you wanna talk bases. I am all ears. Cheers fellas. Also, I am looking at 1 more potential play but the line is not out yet.

2 starters here that don't give up the long ball facing off against 2 struggling offenses. Hudson is one of the better GB% pitchers in the league and Hernandez had some solid numbers in his AAA starts this year. Obviously that is to be taken with a grain of salt but I found it impressive that he hadn't given up any homeruns in his 9 starts in the PCL league which is notorious for having inflated power numbers from hitters. This number is already down to 8 so it looks like I got a bargain price here.

Sliding down the slope. What a run dude. Some of it is just apart of the game and some of it is just tough luck. Capping any game involving Atlanta & Pittsburgh has been an absolute nightmare. Been on the wrong side of that matchup pretty much every time. But what can ya do except keep pushing forward. Like my guy Smoke said its just about sticking with it, staying disciplined and not getting rattled. So thats what we'll do then. See you tomorrow.

yeah it was a real nice day today and I got to watch a lot of the games as well which I noticed helps me keep a pulse on things much better. Pittsburgh let another one slip away but nonetheless we both had some solid dogs come through for us today. cheers bro

                                                  6/12 recap

Finally back in the green after a solid day of work. Ran with a high volume set but everything was calculated accordingly. Another unbelievable twist in the Pittsburgh & Atlanta saga unfolded today. That series has just been a disaster from a betting standpoint. Absolute mayhem left and right. Tell you what though, those Pittsburgh boys play with so much heart. It seems like every single game their pitching efforts turn disastrous yet they continue to battle back from early opposition leads time and time again. If there was even the slightest amount of consistency in that pitching staff and bullpen, that team would be a 40-45 win squad at this point. Easy. Ironically enough, I may be diving back into that chaotic series tomorrow again because I already see a play that has some value. Also, there was a grading mistake with one of my previous plays. It was the total from the first Pittsburgh & Atlanta game that was cancelled because the game was suspended before it finished. I had just caught that now after updating my tracker. The marathon continues tomorrow. Good night & see ya then.

Mets game was graded as a win per rules. A swing of luck coming my way is nice for once. Sheesh. More importantly though, the Raptors just beat the Warriors to become world champions. I didn't have any wagers on this series but I was confident since the beginning of the playoffs that the Warriors weren't gonna get the 3peat done. I foolishly thought the Rockets would take em out in the second round but it ended up being the team from up north which displayed a tremendous amount of poise throughout this series and handled their business all playoffs. So shoutout to city of TORONTO & entire CANADA. Those folks up there will surely be jamming Drake all night & drinking Alexander Keith or whatever it is they usually drink. Eh buddy!?
