2nd half thread

I am going to start a thread and actually stick with it for the second half instead of posting my thoughts in everyone elses threads...

My new strategy which has been working pretty well lately is to go through the entire days card and ELIMINATE the games I know I do not like and then see what I have left. This is helped in reducing my number of bets a day (3-4 average) compared to 6-8 that I used to play.

I have eliminated Phils/Cubs, CWS/TB, and Hous/St Louis so far... Working on the rest, as always any CONSTRUCTIVE thoughts are always welcome...

Mets/Nationals - Two double A teams with Wild Thing Perez on the mound with the "ace" of the Nats throwing. I would have to take the Mets on principle alone but I just can't play a game this series.

Cubs/Philly - Harden is a beast on the road going 4-1 with a 2.17 ERA in 6 starts. The Phillies have won 9 games in a row. The Phillies have a good shot but don't like the matchup and the Phillies are bound to lose a game shortly. Don't trust the Cubbies offense though so no play for me.

Cardinals/Astros - Can Wandy stay this hot? Don't know and with Mr. Inconsistanct starting for the Cards I just don't have a good feeling about this one.

Red Sox/Rangers - I do like the Red Sox but with a line in the -160's it's a little to rich for my blood. The Red Sox offense has been in a bit of a funk and for some reason they seem to struggle against rookie pitchers. I think the Sox win but no play becuase of the high line. Beckett is a beast though.

Yankees - I rarely play them. Their my team and I only play them when I feel it's a no brainer. The O's can hit and with Mitre on the mound the Yanks could lose this game, especially since their bats have been cold. They did light up Hill earlier this year but with a line in the -170's no action for me.
