Oakalnd is playing really well. Bauer is starting for the Indians but his numbers when playing against Oakland are not so well.
Bauer a California native is 1-2 with a 4.44 ERA in five career starts vs the A's overall. He seems to struggle against them but luckily for him, he is facing Blackburn tonight who is up and down lately. Blackburn allowed 6 runs in a 10-3 loss against the White Sox in his last start.
All in all I see two good offenses facing each other but I still have to say even with his mediocre history against Oakland, Bauer still the better pitcher; he is having a tremendous month of June where he is striking out a lot of batters.
Bauer needs 16 K's to tie a Cleveland strikeout record for the month of June.
