I have Snell right around average and I am high on Oakland offense this year. I have Gossett about 10% below average, so Rays should nick him up as well. All of this leading to model total of 9.1

I actually have this as starting pitching mismatch, Bundy safely above average and possibly still undervalued due to slump he had recently, Hellickson below average.

That Padres price alone makes me think they have to win. Makes zero sense.

I currently have Giolito as the very worst rated pitcher in baseball, I get Cleveland 72% (-257).

Marlins have been undervalued all year, I wouldn't read too much into line.

I am a pretty big sox fan and even I have to admit that Yank lineup could wreck the hottest pitcher on simple fly balls that leave the yard

Morton one of the most prime regression candidates in all of baseball, pitchers simply do not improve this much at this late stage of their careers (unless they have some, ahem, help lol).
As for Marlins, I never said they were good, what I meant was they are not as bad as their record.
Before someone asked about A's, yes I have Rays starter rated a shade over 10% better, but that gets more than offset by Oakland edge of around 20% in offensive splits.

i agree with Verlander, morton and cole all on the juice.. My God I mean have you looked at their stats? something in that houston water it seems...

starting pitchers Dan Straily at Tyson Ross, so why doesn't the line make sense??
I don't completely trust either of them, but when Ross is on he's pretty untouchable. Righties batting .142 against him so far this year
Surprisingly also righties just .128 against Straily

with this battle of the titans Marlins at Padres about to begin, pointing out the Padres at -164 right now are by far the highest favorite line they've been this year
April 28 they closed -140 favorite at home vs NY Mets, pitching matchup Jason Vargas vs Joey Lucchesi
Padres won 12-2
interesting comparison. Marlins not equal to the Mets. Vargas not equal to Straily. Or is he?
Padres gonna win, not sure if they cover runline.
