Florida was also a play but the juice is to high @ -180. If the line goes down i will post it as a official play, if not its not a play for me. I dont play lines over -170 so if it drops down to -170 or lower it will be posted. Play at your own risk at this point. I see it now at -178 so it is going down a bit.

This sure is a silent forum. As anyone using these plays? Just curious because if not there's no reason for me to post. Like i said before if you want write ups on any play let me know and ill post them. I dont have to have feedback but if these plays arent being looked at and played then no reason for me to waste time posting. Good luck.

                MINNY @ KC

MIN: RHP Nick Blackburn (6-3, 3.11 ERA)
Blackburn became the first Twins pitcher in more than a decade to pitch back-to-back complete games -- the last being Brad Radke in June 1998 -- but Blackburn's second one was a loss. After allowing just two runs to the Brewers over his first 7 2/3 innings, Blackburn gave up two in the bottom of the eighth and the winning run scored on his throwing error. Despite the disappointing finish, Blackburn continues to be a model of consistency. He is 1-0 with a 2.00 ERA in three career appearances (two starts) vs. the Royals.

Twins are 5-0 in their last 5 during game 1 of a series.

Twins are 4-0 in Blackburns last 4 starts following a team loss in their previous game.

Twins are 4-1 in Blackburns last 5 starts when their opponent allows 2 runs or less in their previous game.

Royals are 2-8 in Hochevars last 10 starts as an underdog.

Royals are 1-4 in Hochevars last 5 starts during game 1 of a series.

Royals are 1-5 in Hochevars last 6 starts as an underdog of +110 to +150.

Royals are 1-5 in Hochevars last 6 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance.

Royals are 1-5 in Hochevars last 6 home starts vs. a team with a winning record.

Royals are 2-14 in Hochevars last 16 starts when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game.

Royals are 0-4 in Hochevars last 4 starts as a home underdog.

Royals are 0-6 in Hochevars last 6 starts vs. American League Central.

Twins are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in Kansas City.

The Twinkies also dominate in just about every category as far as their away stats vs. the home stats of the Royals.

As a reminder my plays really arent made for you to pick and choose which games to play. Meaning i play them all because i dont put plays ahead of others based on units. I dont give more strength towards 1 play over the other. If i was that good i would be a millionaire. I play them all for the same amount of units and over the long haul, by seasons end if everything goes as years past i will be up 100+ units for the year.

                        More on the Minny/KC Play:

HOCHEVAR is 0-1 when starting against MINNESOTA with an ERA of 8.44 and a WHIP of 2.251.His team's record is 0-1 (-1.1 units) in these starts.

BLACKBURN is 1-0 when starting against KANSAS CITY with an ERA of 2.35 and a WHIP of 0.913.His team's record is 2-0 (+2.1 units) in these starts.

I capped the game @ Minnesota -171. Even though you are laying a little juice the line should be much higher.

                        Minnesota -134 over Kansas City:
Nick Blackburn (6-3, 3.11) has been one of the best pitchers in the American League this year, and most people have never even heard of him. He’s not a big strikeout pitcher (only 41 in 101 innings), but he induces ground balls and pitches to contact. He’s one of the main reasons Minnesota finds itself in contention in the AL Central.
Former #1 overall pick Luke Hochevar (2-3, 5.87) has had an up and down season for the Royals but is starting to find some consistency after years of taking the Minors/Majors elevator. In three of his last 5 starts he’s pitched into the seventh inning, and is 2-0 in those outings. The other two in that time frame have been poor, but like I said, he’s working on finding some consistency. It’ll come, he’s too talented for it not to, but in 2009 I expect more of the same problems that have plagued him early in his career to continue.

                        Hope that helps

                              Pittsburgh (Z. Duke) ML +100 (2 units)
The Pittsburgh Pirates will try to start a new winning streak when they welcome the NL Central-foe Chicago Cubs to PNC Park this evening for the first of three straight games.

Zach Duke gets the nod tonight for Pittsburgh and has pitched exceptionally well at home this season. Duke is 5-0 with a 2.50 earned run average over his last five trips to the PNC Park mound and 6-2 in eight total starts as the host. In his last outing Wednesday versus Cleveland in the Steel City, Duke tossed six innings of one-run ball in a 10-6 victory to push his record to 5-2 in his past seven decisions.

Rich Harden will try to pitch himself and the Cubs back into the win column when he toes the rubber Monday. Harden is 0-3 with a 5.64 earned run average over his last four starts and 0-2 in three outings since coming off of the disabled list. In his most recent start Wednesday at Detroit, Harden was reached for four runs -- two earned -- in the 5-3 setback

                              San Francisco (T. Lincecum) -126 (2 units)
Tim Lincecum didn't face the Cardinals when the teams met May 29-31 in San Francisco, where the Giants won two of three games. But he has won all three of his career starts against St. Louis, posting a 2.37 ERA. Last year, Lincecum yielded just two earned runs in 13 innings spanning two starts against the Cardinals.

If not for Jason Giambi's solo home run, Tim Lincecum would have recorded his second shutout of the season Tuesday against the Oakland A's. That didn't mean he had an easy go of it, though. Twice Lincecum escaped bases-loaded situations by inducing ground-ball double plays. Still, it's clear that Lincecum has regained his dominating stuff overall. He owns a 1.48 ERA since May 21. Lincecum also has won three of his last four starts.

Pablo Sandoval has reached base safely in 23 consecutive games, collecting a hit in 21 of them. He ranked second in the National League with a .340 batting average entering Sunday. Nate Schierholtz owns a five-game hitting streak, which might not sound like much. But he has collected multiple hits in four of those games to lift his average above .300. Schierholtz even batted cleanup in Sunday's series finale against the Milwaukee Brewers as Bengie Molina rested.

Oswalt, coming off a complete-game loss at Minnesota on June 19, pitched well and took a no-decision Wednesday against the Royals. Oswalt has allowed one earned run in three of his past five starts. He is 9-2 with a 2.87 ERA in 14 career appearances against the Padres, including 12 starts. He's 2-1 with a 3.09 ERA in four career starts at PETCO Park.

Despite a rocky first three innings, Floyd produced his seventh consecutive quality start in a 10-7 victory against the Dodgers on Wednesday. Anaheim/Texas (S. O'Sullivan/V. Padilla) UNDER 10.5 -105 (1 unit)
O'Sullivan pitched well in his second big league start, but was plagued by two problems -- his control and the bat of Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. O'Sullivan needed 101 pitches to get through five-plus innings and allowed three runs, all coming on two homers by Tulowitzki. O'Sullivan's command was off, as he walked three batters, but he kept the Angels in the game, at least, as he exited with the team down just one run.

The Angels have 26 homers in their past 15 games after hitting only nine in their previous 14 games. ... With 419 wins, the Angels lead the Majors since the start of the 2005 season.

Padilla is 3-0 with a 2.16 ERA in his last four starts after a 2-1 victory over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday night at Chase Field. He allowed one run on six hits and two walks over seven innings while striking out three. Padilla, 5-1 with a 2.96 ERA in his last eight starts, is 3-2 with a 5.54 ERA in seven starts at home this season. One of those victories came against the Angels on May 16, when he allowed three runs in eight innings. He is 6-3 with a 4.72 ERA in 13 games, including 12 starts, against the Angels in his career.

I also read your post.I don't write that much because of too many paper works. I also write at Ck's thread but not that much.Of course we also need to secure our jobs. So, enough of this lousy explanation. I just want to tell you that you are doing a tremendous job . I also follow some of your picks.I always follows some picks because i have no time to research ballgames because of work. And sometimes i follow my instincts if i'm gonna play the game. And for tonights games I like your plays. But gonna play 4 only and that's LAA SFO MIN CWS and as for me I like COL for the late game. So,if i may ask, what do you think or do you have some analysis on the Col/Lad game?

The COL/LAD isnt a play of mine but here's what i think:

                                      Colorado/LAD:

Jimenez pitched a solid seven innings against the Angels on Tuesday, giving up seven hits and four earned runs, yet he got the loss thanks to a timely two-run single by Bobby Abreu in the top of the eighth inning. It was the first loss of June for Jimenez, who had won three straight. Jimenez is 4-3 with a 6.84 ERA in 10 career games against the Dodgers. Since May 1, Jimenez is 5-4 with a 2.91 ERA in 11 starts, and he has been a big figure in the Rockies' run.

Wolf got roughed up by the White Sox last time out. In only 3 1/3 innings, he allowed five runs and three homers, along with two walks, two wild pitches and a hit batter. The Dodgers had won seven of Wolf's eight previous starts and he came into the game having allowed only one run the previous 11 innings. It was his first start of the year lasting less than five innings.

The Rockies are 1-8 against the Natonal League West-leading Dodgers this year.

COL are 12-2 in their last 14 road games.
COL are 18-5 in their last 23 games as an underdog.
COL are 20-6 in their last 26 games on grass.
LAD are 46-20 in their last 66 home games.
LAD are 48-21 in their last 69 games as a favorite.
LAD are 12-3 in Wolfs last 15 home starts.

Tough call for me. I'd prefer the over than the side.

Over is 9-0 in Jimenezs last 9 starts vs. LA.

I would have a slight lean toward Colorado because the way they are playing of late but a bigger lean to the OVER.

West won his third game of the season after throwing six shutout innings against the Orioles in his last start. The left-hander allowed just four hits while walking three and striking out two. The 22-year-old West allowed a runner to reach in each of his six innings but was able to get out of jams all night by remaining calm and making his pitches.

The 6-foot-8 West has reason to believe in himself after pitching well since he was called up from Double-A Jacksonville on May 23. In his last start, West baffled the Orioles for six shutout innings while holding them to four hits.

It was his longest outing since he threw 7 2/3 innings on May 23. Ohlendorf has lost three of his past four decisions. Despite playing in the same division as the Cubs, the right-hander hasn't faced them in his career. Ohlendorf is 4-2 at home this season.

Lilly (Chicago) gave up a season high in hits and runs in his last start, against the Tigers, serving up six runs on 10 hits over six innings. The 10 hits Lilly allowed matched his career high -- or low, depending on how you look at it. He was glad to see Interleague Play end. Lilly was 0-1 with two no-decisions against American League teams and has not faced the Pirates yet this season.

Tough game to call for me. Pitching matchup is pretty close. The team that i think is warming up is the Cubbies and they have historically played very well on the road in Pittsburgh.

I'll sit this one out but if you twisted my arm to make a selection i probably would lean to the Cubs.

Tough game to call for me. Pitching matchup is pretty close. The team that i think is warming up is the Cubbies and they have historically played very well on the road in Pittsburgh.
