Mr. Crumbs Leans for Saturday 6/13/09
I have been pulling out my hair with some of the crazy new an inventive ways my teams have given away games after the 8th inning lately. Whatever. The homework was done the call is correct, but the relievers and now fielders after yesterday are trying to pac man me. But I won't let em. I have two Brown Bag Plays and one late play. I will come along later and do my write up/break down

Red Birds-110 HEAVY (No this is not a misprint)
    Pale Hose+100
    Phillies-115

I have a series bet on the Red Birds-130. One loss is not going to deter me from getting my two in series wins on top of my series bet. They have the superior team and it will show as this series goes along

I am going to refrain from betting on visiting teams now (in baseball). Was quite upset with the way Pittsburgh beat Detroit tonight in pucks though. Had 10u on em..

Also, bad/unlucky 0-4 tonight CK. Good luck to you (us too, as I like following you) tomorrow! I'll be tailing you for the appropriate numbers.

Red Birds (4u) - this is the right call

      I'm on the Jays too.

However, cant wrap my mind around taking Pittsburgh even with Zach Duke on the hill. I like Galarraga.. Plus the Tigers have a totally superior offensive lineup. Plus I just heard a stat where Pittsburgh is 64-105 against the AL? Wow. Think I'll take the Tigers and the price.

Jays, Tigers, Cards, A's for me tomorrow.

          Sat-

i realize this is hardens first game back, but this just feels like a bad spot for the twins. i dont see the twins (9-20 on the road) taking 2 in a row at wrigley. swarzak has a 7.80/1.89 in his last 3.

I don't have any unders today. Just not feeling it. If I had to pick one it would be the OAK/SFG game but the line has already dropped to 7.5, and I'm seeing a couple red flags in the trends on that one. I'm playing sides today, even though it's not really my stongsuit. Besides, I'm much more concerned with UVA/LSU tonight at 7pm EST College World Series. Tought matchup for he hoos but they don't back down for anybody. And I've got friends coming in from out of town and I'm going to concert tonight so I won't be around later.... Hope the board can survive without me!

                            CLE 0.00

Advantage Red Birds. Thompson has been pitching in the bigs this year. Ohka has not and matter of fact he is making his season debut (Ohka is VERY hittable) against a Red Birds lineup that is scorching the ball despite yesterday's loss.

                            Power Rankings

                            STL -104

                            CLE-110

Advantage Red Birds. With a higher majority of bettors on them the linemaker relented and the line is now Red Birds-105, and -106 in some places, going from positive money to negative money overnight. That is a significant factor, and should not be overlooked. Linemakers hate to take a wager from positive to negative territory.

                            Advantage Wahoos

My pick: Red Birds HEAVY. They hold all of the advantages with movement, hitting, pitching and lack bullpen presence. Ohka will serve up some grapefruits for Pujols and the Red Birds get out to a lead and hold it. I love the Wahoos, just not in this series!

I agree. I was looking at this match up and I like Florida here. There is good value, and West has been solid in his first 3 starts. His Whip is .95 and his one game on the road this year he went 7 innings with 1 ER. I'll be backing the fish today, but GL to all.

Cknker...I am starting to notice you play the Cards alot... they seem like a good pick...but do you notice yourself not playing for/against certain teams? I notice now that I am using a system, then capping after the system picks out a few series.. I have to a look at teams I used to ignore. Example TB yesterday not a team I usually play either way...

yeah, ive noticed that as well - in hoops it was the rockets.

shoe does the same thing with the pirates.

its good when you get a pulse on a team - i dont really have one for any team yet.

I also saw someone..think it was windycity sports who follows only the Cubs in a thread...claims he will hit 85%, have not looked at his thread lately...started it last week. Will be interesting to see how he does.

In the nba I did really well, especially when I needed a big win with the Celtics. Baseball lately i have been all over the board and I am ahead...but it has been a struggle..actually because of the Cards and that damn 4 game sweep by the rockies last weekend...

The Blue Jays have also had no luck against the Marlins (30-33) lately, getting outscored 35-10 in losing the last six meetings.

In his only start against the Marlins on June 17, 2006, Janssen was tagged for a career-high seven runs and 11 hits in three innings of an 8-2 loss.

On Friday, Cody Ross hit a tiebreaking grand slam -- his third this season -- to help the Marlins improve to 8-2 all-time in Toronto.

Sean West (1-1, 2.22) looks to build off his first career win and help the Marlins win their fourth straight game at Rogers Centre.
