Friday Interleague Value Plays

I went 2-1 +1.13 units yesterday.

Dodgers -110: The Dodgers are going to be a solid team in interleague play this year. They have offense, defense, and pitching. Kuroda and the Dodger's pen will outmatch the Rangers.

Red Sox -125: A lot of people seem to forget how dominant Lester is. Joe Blanton is nothing and struggles in hitter-friendly Citizens Bank Park. The Red Sox also have a really reliable bullpen. The Phils don't hit lefties as well given that their best hitters are themselves lefties: Utley, Howard, Ibanez.

Cardinals +105: Pineiro has been better this season. The Cardinals will benefit from playing in AL stadiums since they have a good offensive team. David Huff hasn't pitched well and the Indians' bullpen is pretty shaky. With all of their injuries, the Indians shouldn't come close to winning.

The Rangers do have a solid offense, but that's about it. The Dodgers are a solid team all around and could go all the way.
