I had to brag only because it has been FOREVER since I had a little winning streak. Im hoping to build on it today. Lets turn that 2-7 around today babe! What are you looking at? You do college baseball?

Ok two early college baseball leans-

Florida State -240 over Arkansas---12pm eastern start
Virginia -150 over Mississippi---2 pm eastern start

Comparable stats:

Arkansas: .274 average, 72 HRs, 62 SBs, 4.56ERA, 462 Ks, 219 BBs, .262 BAA, .969 fielding

Florida State: .323 average, 88 HRs, 93 SBs, 4.55ERA, 455 Ks, 289 BBs, .256 BAA, .961 fielding.

**Based on these stats, I believe Florida State has a huge advantage. Their batting average is much higher and their SB's are also much higher. They have been killing the ball and barely broke a sweat in three consecutive wins over Marist, Georgia and Ohio State, by the insane total of 61-12.

Virginia: .331 average, 55 HRs, 104 SBs, 3.19ERA, 541 Ks, 173 BBs, .235 OBA, .972 fielding.

Ole Miss: .315 average, 54 HRs, 89 SBs, 4.14 ERA, 594 Ks, 179 BBs, .272 BAA, .971 fielding.

**Based on these stats, I like Virginia to have the edge. Once again, they have much higher batting average and they like to steal bases at a very high rate. The thing that stands out the most for me though is that they have only surrendered 2 runs in three games. Their ERA is substantially lower.

Parlay Florida State -240 and Virginia -150---risking 2.94 units to win 4 units

Based upon the batter/pitcher matchups Fl. State should win easily, but this late in the tourney...anything could happen, I'll still play it. To win 2 units as well. Need to look more into UVA...GL.

Good call jasont--Im just going with Fl. State because I believe they are the power team in this matchup. They hit more Hr's. I also like their speed---I hope we cash it! GL babe

FYI--UVA's pitching has been phenomenal. They are sending ace to the mound today.

Very rarely... If I got into College Baseball I honestly think I would never leave my house. There is enough sports to look at and bet on as it is, adding college bases might really mess me up!

TB +1.5 -120

Toronto over 7.5 (I think Toronto might be able to hit Greinke a little bit...He gave up 5 hits and 2 ER last meeting, so over 7.5 seems possible)

Cubs

Marlins -1.5 +140

and your Pirates +122...

TB/NYY thoughts... As a huge Yankee fan I could see Price baffling the Yanks tonight. Recently the Yankees have had trouble with pitchers they've never seen before. CC dominates the Rays in his career, plus he's been amazing over the last month, hasn't lost since May 2. Under looks damn good on paper, but who knows. It is raining pretty bad here in NJ though so I wouldn't be surprised for a rain-delay/postponned game.

My book has U 9 at -125... might play that, but I might skip this game completely because the rain shows no signs of stopping and don't want money tied up in a delay
