I don't trust lackey at that launching pad. I wouldn't expect Newcomb to be able to go very deep into the game vs scrubbies tho as they good against lhp so should have opportunities late vs braves pen. Over for me.

Ya I can see Newcomb having a soild game but braves bats can get stagnant at times Lackey can easily go 6 7 innings gives up 2 or 3 therefore I see a 5 3 type of game cubs getting better makes sense their rotation gets better to I no I'm new on here just trying to give a good opinion especially when I understand how these lines work but GL just trying to gain trust along with other honest opinions to me safest play would be cubs ml not the total

I don't care that you new man, Im all for intelligent conversation on a game, more the better imo..

Honestly I'd be surprised if lackey had that strong of a outing. 6ip 3 runs I think would be best case for him. I still think cubs can win even if lackey gets touched up. Newcomb talented for sure but scrubbies lineup really good vs lhp, maybe they don't rough the kid up but I don't expect him to be able to get thru the lineup 3x either. Don't expect he will go more than 5 innings. Even against weak lineups he been a 6 in pitcher and has struggled vs the good lineups he has seen lately. To me everything points to runs here, if it becomes a bullpen game which I suspect it will you have a good line w cubs who have big advantage in that area. I don't hate a play on cubs I just feel more strongly about the total. Gl
