#317Hey, you guys are right. I lost my shirt tonight. I did have insider info from the GM of Seattle's AA affiliate, but he was obviously wrong. Hey, I don't derserve to show my face here anymore. If it make you guys feel any better, I lost everything tonight. Good luck to everyone, I thought I had the golden ticket. No. I'm not gonna pretend like I was clever and tricked you guys, that's too easy. The truth is, I'm broke. You guys stay in the fight.Comment -

#318It could be manager of the major league club and again who cares they don't know wtf gonna happen "hey my team gonna win" I be like sure thing chief, lol. Only time a manager info be good is if he promised loss and put in shitty relievers and left them out there to get shelled.Comment -

#321For a second let's pretend that true jus for argument sake. Why would a minor league manager know any more about the outcome than one of us? Mike matheny could tell me 2marro cards gonna win and I'd look at him and laugh. Now If manger tells me his team gonna lose and to ensure this he gonna pull starter in 4th and put in biggest scrub reliever he can find in, put his 1st baseman in center field and catcher at shortstop. Then we on to something!! LolComment -

#322He told me that Gibson was struggling with his pitch selection and would not last past the third inning. I believed him because Seattle was averaging 7+ runs per game vs righties in theirr last 10. And Minny's bullpen ERA was 9.08 in their last 10 games. The sad thing is, he will give me $5K easily. But those who tailed me lost everything.Comment -

#324Think I mentioned on page 1 that this play reeked of desperation since he been on a slide and has went into the red. Not sure why anyone would have been anxious to tail, for some reason when guys say a large amount of money then start throwing around guarantee and telling everyone how they will regret it forever if they pass up this chance of lifetime on his inside info all a sudden degenerates start believing as gamblers prone to wanting to believe it possible. I ain't here to root against anyone, all I was doing was trying to talk you off the ledge. Wish I would have succeeded and only hope I helped talk others out of making big mistake.
You got impatient after a bad run, it was pretty clear. Maybe you talked to whoever AA guy was maybe ya didn't but you let that influence you into somehow thinking this random baseball gm was any more likely to win than any other when deep down you know damn well that not the case. My only beef was way you were pushing it on everyone else so hard, Ill never understand why anyone does that, sometimes I get uncomfortable with idea of anyone playing a game I suggest and if anything I make it be known I promise I have no crystal ball, last thing I ever want is to feel responsible cause someone lost more money than they could really afford to.Comment -

#338I didn't fade you and didn't want you or anyone else to lose . All I called was there was no way this game had any more a chance of winning than any other game on the card and it be foolish to bet this or any of them for substantially more than any other bet..

Long stories short he gave out 9 out of 9 straight soccer winners - i started betting from pick 5 or 6. And then starting pick 10 he started giving losers-fade material with same consistency - game after game.
So exceptions do happen u find a great capper to follow - i ran into 2 over hm... 12 years...
yeah u better handicap yourselfComment -

#340Nothing wrong w tailing, some guys are newer or just not as skilled and there plenty of guys around that solid and things can be learned from them. Personally tho I think you should merely use others as a guide and look into each game yourself to try and figure why you making the play not just merely tailing it in hopes of profiting. Which eventually should help develop your own methods you can be successful with. For myself capping the games is the entertainment far more so than watching them or having action.Comment -

#341Unreal, how one post can bury all those who follow blindly, I agree with 2dabank, there are better cappers out here who grind the whole season to finish in the positive, there is nothing known as breaking the bank, if there was, we wouldn't spend time capping. Get real guys, the only chance of you getting a royal flush is in the bathroom !!Comment -

#349My nomination for the craziest SBR thread of the year so far. Ask Pete Rose how much money he made by betting on baseball.
The most unusual thing here is that Machine Choice mostly just posted his plays without any discussion or commentary. This was totally out of character for him.
I once spoke with a bookie on the backstretch of a racetrack. He told me that he could become a millionaire if he could open a betting window for owners and trainers who want to bet their 'sure thing' horses. Never forgot that lesson.Comment -
