Everything you said is true, but that is also exactly the reason Rockies are overvalued tonight, model has Cubs 59% (-144). But also cannot bet Cubs under these circumstances, so will simply pass.

Everything you said is true, but that is also exactly the reason Rockies are overvalued tonight, model has Cubs 59% (-144). But also cannot bet Cubs under these circumstances, so will simply pass.

From a human perspective, that's why you'd like to bet the Cubs tonight. They'd like to bounce back. I always like the "bounce back" angle in sports when a good team is humiliated in their last game.

It;s not the mental, it's the physical. Cubs played 18 innings on a Getaway night game in the Midwest before a late flight West into altitude, with the bullpen heavily worked. Now the Cubs could still win and they are a model play strictly speaking, but no need to force a play. My volume is already heavy enough
