I think there still a lot of folks including oddsmakers not sold on rox as I feel they rarely get the proper respect in their lines, which of course why I bet them so often I'm a believer. I do think scrubbies hit chatwood tonight tho, I doubt cubs chances of winning high as line suggest but for some reason I thought it was a pass when I capped it (forget what my reasons were now, lol). I need to go check ump now that I'm back home, I do lean over.

see i say the same thing about the cubs all the time, they are due to breakout and go on a nice offensive streak and then i bet them, well they will score 2 runs and lose lol

rox seem like a play here considering chatwood has pretty decent numbers at wrigley in his only start there, and is 2-0 vs the cubs in his career

now with that said, its not a high enough sample size to say he dominates the cubs in general

rox +180 is the play for me for a minor play

I treat tough scheduling spots/potential for worn down team on more of case by case basis but in general my theory is typically that this doesn't effect the team as poorly in the 1st game as adrenaline tends to carry ya thru the 1st day. It day 2 where I look for the letdown.

I was telling my buddy lakercrazy that Richard success or lack there of vs dbags was night and day in sd opposed to in zona. He has had some dominating starts vs dbags at home but don't recall ever seeing him not get knocked around in zona. I'm not much a believer in him anyways and zona just a different offensive team at home, they more Rockies than Rockies used to be, there spilts that of a totally different team when they not home or at coors of course..

I hear ya, hurt my feelings less since was my only loss on the day. Far as Harper goes what annoys me isn't so much he failed to get that runner home as much as next time he hits meaningless hr in a game practically decided already he starts showboating. Lol

Deeper look at chatwood and I gotta say what sticks out most to me is he has had majority of his solid outings vs poor hitting teams and/or teams that struggle vs lhp. Scrubbies one of better teams hitting lefties and their offense appears to be hitting its stride lately. Both teams rank in top 8 ops against lhp so I don't expect life to be easy for either pitcher. I like both teams to get at least 4, by my math that would make us have to get 9!! Lol

I swear everytime I back Baltimore or a over in their games I'm usually sitting around scratching my head wondering wtf wrong w their offense for a large part of the game. Then normally they come to life and score some runs but it never easy or early it seems with them. worst part it usually against gas cans, Kuhl yesterday walking guys left and right and they couldn't capitalize, now Ross who been terrible is stifling them tonight. Bright side is nats pen stinks just need to stay within striking range.

Plenty of time left for more runs to be scored. Look at the Arizona game today. 6 runs in the late innings with 2 outs. And then Arizona piles on some more. I don't know how Arizona does it but they seem to get a big hit when they need to and 2-3 runs score at once
