Marlins are an absolute joke. Been a Marlins fan since the beginning, and this is the mosy underperforming team I've seen. There's talent on offense, but they still haven't been scoring. Pitching is a disaster outside of Dan Straily and Urena's few good starts. I don't know how anyone can put their hard earned money on this dumpster fire of a team. Not saying it can't turn around, but I will be staying far, far away from these clowns until they show signs of life.Comment -

When the last time they weren't bad tho? And generally they a solid play vs lefties considering usually get a good price and they typically have success. Fukkin Stanton getting thrown out at 3rd in 1st inning right before bohr's hr pretty much knew then, freaking sorry ass meathead making out when already in scoring position and guy on team swinging best bat up at plate! who of course proceeds to hit a solo blast, then next man hits what turns out to be meaningless double. 2 doubles and a hr in 1st inning to score all of 1 runs. Sums up what shit teams do. Dodgers manager played it smart and yanked ryu at 1st sign of trouble in the 5th, pretty much game over soon as that gas can lefty was pulled..Comment -
What a dog shit week that was. Had made it over 20u for season then since Mother's Day we have done some sliding with some bad plays, some bad breaks, and some teams simply pissing away nice leads thrown in..

I really don't disagree with anything you said. Although I don't think they were "bad" last year. They certainly had their problems, but at least last year it seemed they were playing some good baseball. Players improved. They came from behind. After Jose's tragic death last year, and the emotional win against the Mets, they were just out of gas and kind of coasted the rest of the year. Justin Bour is hitting well finally, and he was hurt much of last year. He's pretty important to the lineup and I feel had he been healthy last year, they would have been better. Of course, there are some key injuries this year too. But the starting pitching and over-use of the bullpen is the main problem.Comment -
Starters eating less innings than any team. Would tax any pen. That all well and good (well obviously it not) but we know this, the lineup especially of late has been terrible. Barely .600 ops, as a team hitting around Mendoza line last week or more. That rediculous even for bad team..Comment -

As a marlins fan I can tell ya their starting pitching always has and will be a problem ever since Beckett and Burnett left over a decade ago. They have maintained some semblance of offense throughout the years with Miguel Cabrera, Hanley Ramirez, Stanton etc. This year, they just swinging at anything, not taking walks, Realmuto yesterday swinging at pitches just under his chin striking out twice with risp. Teams figured out just throwing braking pitches away eliminates Stanton, Yelich off to sluggish start and not seeing as many good pitches to hit. D Gordon off steroids can barely hit the ball out of the infield. Top it all off with Mattingly who makes Ben Stein look manic. You can just see how they play w/o discipline on basepads and swinging at garbage they got no leadership. With that said gotta think they turn it around offensely, they had Kim Jong hun right at the breaking point last night before he got hooked.Comment -
True all that. Obviously you watch them more than me but the few times I've watched them a little last week I definitely see what you saying. The leadership thing really bothersome to me which goes hand in hand with the undisciplined play which kills me to watch. If I was a fan I'd be going insane, shoulda heard me killing cardinals first few weeks of season for weak mental bs mistakes.lol. I can live with teams struggling it happens but not playing the game hard or right pisses me off to no end.Comment -

Yea not gonna be a lot tonight.. don't have much time to get umps and didn't do enough work on card honestly.. we gonna fire away at Saturday's card which I will dig into this evening after I put the woman to bed
all that left as possibles for me tonight the under in stl if we get decent ump and if I have chance I will do little more work on late games.. after tat post ump I'll decide on total here and post from phone..

I lean Miami and Oakland late but undecided.. we talked bout fish a lot already. The Oakland game I suppose could be a under or taking the 1.5 with A's.. I like graveman and while pissed at myself for not playing oak yesterday some of that is I like fading teams the second day of the situation Sox are in. Long night in stl, travel to west coast, and pen been used up from extra inning affair. My logic with the fade on second game when we talking fatigue is the 1st game I feel guys go off adrenaline then day 2 is when it all kinda catches up to them.. all that said sale is a beast so have to decide..other than checking or ump and posting if I play stl total I'll be gone for while.. gl everyoneComment -
