If you guys have the bug later see my posts above about Hollywood. I'll tell you though - for the novice - go easy. I play $1 daily doubles and pick 3's and $1 box exactas to start. If I get up I bump it to $2 exactas and maybe DD, but usually still play $1 pick 3's. When you are using multiple horses in each leg of a pick 3 it can get pricey. You can blow $50 before the card is half way done just playing the way I'm describing. So be advised and good luck.

Hockey play tonight,

Detroit +110 (surprised to see Detroit at plus money tonight. They've pretty much dominated almost every game these playoffs. Although i was on Chicago the first 2 games i really thought the kids would win 1 in Motown but not enough in them. Chicago would not want to get into a scoring affair tonight because that would hurt them so it probably will be a low scoring game and if that's the case i would give the edge to Detroit, experience. One thing, the books obssiovvsly want money on Chicago for them to make them only -130 in a must win. Best thing they have Chicago pl at +245 and the public is alll over that)

ehhh...im not a big show guy. i think its good to play the show only if you're consistently playing horses at 10-1 or >......my sizes vary but on average i usually play like 3-1/4-1 type horses. i actually havent bet a whole card in months.

when saratoga opens, i will bet frequently....i have lots of good angles/trends to share from that track.

Do you mean turf race , a sprint race or a turf sprint race? During the winter if she has any that have run in FLA and been top half of the field, they are a good bet (meaning an ITM finish) next outing as the FLA tracks are deeper than most.

My daughter has a soccer game in the morning and a doctor appointment (11:45am). As our tradition, after medical appointments we go out for either a treat/snack or meal. My guess is a meal. After that, I'll be around for the majority of the afternoon.

Just hit a pick 3 at CD that payed $45 on a $1 ticket. It was a total accident too! I meant to play a different horse in the 3rd leg. The horse I accidentally picked went off at 7-1 and won the damn thing. Ha ha. Might be my night at the track.

If you have the choice of an AM or PM Edition, opt for the one that has CRC in it. Here's one to put away for that track, take any shipper from TAM who was in the lower half of the field (last race) but was within 5 lengths at the pace call and include them for your P3's tickets - they won't win but a third of the time but most times they go off at 7:1 or more. If you've been around a track long enough, you what that does to most people's tickets.

Lot scheduled for the lawn for Saturday. Do you know where the rail is set for those races?
