Mr. Crumbs Leans for Tuesday 5/20/09
Well after a mostly break even day yesterday, I looked over at (my 7 week old pug dog) Rodney King and all that he could do was tilt his head to the side. Whatever...I didn't have to take that from a muthaf*cka who don't even know where to shit yet. But I rubbed his tiny head anyway...

Totals are the way to go today. I found three with reverse movement and one that is an auto play until they break the streak. It has a good consensus number too..

Can anyone really slow down the Brewers' squad? The Astros certainly will give it a try, as their bats have been hot as well. Mike Hampton is one hell of a hitter for a pitcher. He also is a pitcher who loves to give up hits too. Can't give the Brewers any extra bases or walks or anything. They are knocking the stuffing out of the ball. With a tight 60% of bettors on the under and only 40% on the over, the line went up from 9 to 9.5

    Astros/Brewers over 9.5

Everyone is leaning the wrong way on this one thinking of the pitchers' names and taking the under 79% to a miniscule 21% of bettors on the under. In spite of that 79%, the wave went the other way and the totals line went from 8 to 8.5. Gotta love that.. That stadium out there in Cincy is awfully small.

    Phils/Reds over 8.5

Until the Pale Hose prove to me otherwise, I will continue to take the under in their games. They are the worst run producing team in the American League. The Twins send out Baker, and the Pales Buehrle. The line started out at 9 at the LVSC and then went down to 8.5. There are only 29% of bettors on the under, and 71% on the over. That kind of movement is hard to ignore.

    Pale Hose/Twinkies under 8.5

The Cardinals can't have a bad series like the one they just had against the Brewers can they? I think that they get off to a hot start in this one and win going away against their hated rivals the Cubs. I have to fade the public on this one and put my fate in Fat Albert!

i'm with you! really like it

    NBA
Denver@Lakers over 215 almost 60% on the UNDER and line just went up from 214.5 to 215. not a very big reverse line movement... but a movement is a movement. I expect a high scoring game with over 220 points if Lakers compete.

Good picks CK, I'll be tailing you once again.

One that I think you overlooked, though, is the Royals +115 this afternoon. A home dog, with Bannister on the hill, and a series opener. I know Lee's coming back into form, but whenever you've got a home pitcher with an ERA hovering between 1 and 2 who's still a DOG...I think you gotta take him, the odds are definitely in your favor.

      Thoughts?

Damn bro......you suffering from Post Traumatic Bets Disorder or what??? I've never known you to curl up in the over/under bunker after a rough battle....lol. You gonna let all those crumbs get away from you today???

BAL +240......Bergesen's old lady got in at 3am last night cuz she was out banging Sabathia in his Hudson Penthouse. She got busted because she had dried-up Corn Flakes caked around her neck (that's just how CeCe rolls i guess). So while Sabathia was expelling all of his energy on a late night booty call, Bergesen was getting plenty of rest and will come out fuming with revenge on his mind.

DET +120.....Dontrell Willis took McCarthy out for a little site-seeing in beautiful Deeetroit and dropped his ass off in Brightmoore. Yeah, McCarthy made it back to the hotel okay....but let's just say he's not the same.

CIN +120......Betto on Cueto or you shall regretto......comprande?

There's your crumbs for the day bro.

                TOR-BOS over 10.5 @ 2.12

Tim Wakefield is a marvelous on-a-roll pitcher and you can lose a lot of money trying to figure out when he'll come down to earth, but when he struggles and gets into a funk:

                a) it takes some time to work it out often
                b) he is given a lot of confidence and often is left out there until the meltdown is complete.

Oh, the line from his last game? @LAA the loss 4.2 IP 11 H 7 R 3 BB 2 SO

Tallet hasn't consistently been throwing first pitch strikes, in his last games he's missed high and right a lot and you combine this with the fact that the BoSox have very good plate discipline, well below league averages in swinging at stuff off the plate and other relevant pd stats, and he'll get into bad counts with men on bases maybe DH Ortiz will be able to do something after he's sat the SEA series to settle down. Lugo also back for Boston.

Note that Tallet's respectable numbers stem in large part from some outings against nobel peace prize candidates like OAK and the White Sox.

I totally agree CK. While cole hamels, is the stud he is. he seems to give up a few homers here and there. And the phillies, are red hot and will probably score 8 runs by themselves.

                                          Hey CK and guys!
I can get the Cardinals right now at +110. You guys seem pretty confident about this one. I think I'll roll with you.
Baseball has not been treating me that well so far. Hope this changes today!

I was thinking the same thing, but I credit it to the way he hedges his larger plays on a separate book. Regardless, I don't think he would "foo-foo" his results and he doesn't have to answer to us regardless. GL Jsmoove.

The Cubs are 18-12 vs righties
The cubs have a winning road record
The cubs batting average in their last 10 is higher than overall
The cubs have won 5 of their last 6 games
The Cubs are 5-2 in games started by Ted Lilly

The Cards are injured ( could start 3 rookies)
The Cards are hitting .219 in their last 10 games
The Cards are hitting .184 vs lefties in their last 10 games
The Cards have LOST 5 of their last 6 games.

Ted Lilly has out pitched Pinero, I like the Cubs overall lineup better, I like how they are hot... I like how the Cards are starting fresh meat, and I like how the Cubs are hitting their strength ( righties) while the Cards are facing their weakness ( lefties). Their lineup minus Pujols doesn't scare me. Molina was hitting 4th the other day ( my late round fantasy sleeper that worked out well), but if you said he was hitting 4th a month ago, you'd say the Cards are ****ed.
