Shields 21-8 with a 3.30 ERA at home and in his last two outings he has put up a 4.3 strikeout to walks ratio, while Fausto walks people routinely. He has not been too stable, and tampa hit well last night putting up eight. Cle bats looking better of late, but this is a team haven't had much high scoring and on some nights can be freezing cold. As recently as May 8th and 9th they had consecutive scoreless nights. First game of a 10 game road trip for them, I'm with TB who nudges CLE on almost all of the off. stats on a night where I think they at least should get equal pitching.
Parlayed with NYY, Sabathia streaky, Tex coming out of it A-Rod protecting him at the 4. NYY wants to get going.
2.72 to 1 parlayed.
I like BOS but didn't have enough time to look into it before 1st pitch so I'm just going to enjoy that one as a spectator.

What do you like about the Indians peterpan? I'm liking the Rays...they seem to have found their stride scoring 8 last night and as we all found out last year in the playoffs, Shields is a force to be wrecking with. So far I like 3 night games:
Cleveland -1 1/2 +215 Carmona has 3.60 ERA and 1.39 Whip in his last 3 starts, while TB's Shield has a 4.50 ERA and 1.50 whip in his last 3 starts. Also Cleveland has won more than they have lost on the road at TB over the last few years. Also Carl Crawford AND DH Burrell are NOT expected to start.
NY Yankee's -2 1/2 +185 Sabathia has been lights out lately with a 3.04 ERA and a 0.84 Whip with only 2 bb's and 20 k's over his last 3 starts, while Tallet has a 7.00 ERA and 1.38 Whip with 8 bb's and 14 k's over his last 3. Plus I always like taking the ROAD team minus runs because they always get 9 innings to bat while a home team with the lead only gets 8 innings to bat. Jeter is probable as well.
NY Mets -138 Maine has been lights out lately as well with a 2.00 ERA and a 1.00 Whip over his last 3 starts. While Sanchez for SF has been the opposite with a 5.79 ERA and a 1.92 Whip over his last 3. I hate going against you CK, but I think the Mets win this one. As a team they are also hitting .335AVG!!
in 5 games against Lefties this year. While SF is hitting .245AVG in 24 games on the season against Righties. Also the bullpen edge goes to NY as well.

I really like the way Carolina finished the last game. If it wasn't for Tim Thomas and his heroics last game it could have easliy been tied in the third period. Look for Carolina carry the momentum from the end of the last game into this one. Remember, Caroilna won game 7 New Jersey, tough to do.

Just posting this on here... I like the Orioles tonight its on MLB TV. Guthrie is due for a good outting and the Royals can't hit... O's have a good #'s against Meche... should be an interesting one.
A few more details on this pick:
Mora, Roberts, and Markakis all have near 300 AVG's on meche with over 15 at bats on each batter. Huffalufigus is a struggler. Guthrie's last 2 starts have been promising he pitched a CG loss in Toronto. His fastball is also getting back into the upper 90's. Value here on the Dirty birds at +119.Comment -
