Sure, if it lands 9, it's only the difference between a win or a push, not a loss or a push. At least that's my philosophy.

Hope we get this bud. I didn't see anyone else on sbr backing the Under.
I got U9 for -125 last night, thinking it would move down to 8 or 8.5...went the other way!

Wind blowing in at 24 to 29 mph with gusts up to 39 mph
58 degees
Pitchers combined are 9-2-2 to the under in their most recent starts
Under leaning umpire
Relievers are rested and both teams have decent closers

Win or lose, I have to play the under in this one.

Good afternoon,

Monday's afternoon play:

Wash/LAD over 7 -105 - 7.5 -140

IMHO here is how I recommend to play it: 1/2 your unit @ 7 -140 and 1/2 @ 7.5 -105

If it lands 7 you only lose 1/2 unit, if it goes under 7 you lose both plays but less juice than at a full unit at -140, and if it goes 8 or more you win both.

Reasons:

Wind blowing out at 7mph, not a lot but at least the right direction
Air Density Index 62 (on the low side....lower the better for overs)
Slightly over umpire
Bullpen pitched a combined 140 pitches yesterday

It's an under ballpark but hopefully that won't be a major factor

As of now I do not have a "Regular" play for today, however........

I did not think that I would have any Reliever Plays in the playoffs but this game qualifies in a big way. For those of you not familiar with with the Reliever Plays you can go to: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/foru...als-sides.html and look at Post #144 for an explaination. Also, for those who did not follow the regular season thread, the Reliever Plays went 360-265 for the season. I am not sure how they will do in the playoffs, since the post season brings its own challenges, but I will post the Reliever Play for Tuesday along with the reasons:

The Reliever Play for Tuesday:

Cubs/SF over 7.5

Yesterday the relievers pitched a combined 226 pitches
Over the last 3 days the relievers pitched a combined 374 pitches
The bullpen ERA is 3.28 and 3.99 respectively which is about average
The starters on average pitch 97 and 96 pitches per game, about average

I may be back with a Regular Play on either of these games today, still digging.
