Imagine Matt Kemp in a Met lineup with Cespedes. They could've got him for Nimmo. Imagine him in a Cardinal uniform. They could've given up any one of 5 outfielders for him. Imagine Kemp in a National Uniform, they could've gotten him for Revere, Taylor or a few other scrubs. How did any GM let this Slugger go to the Braves for Hector Olivera, a total scrub. They all slept on this one!!!

I think any team in serious contention would jump on a player who has 23 HR's/ 69 RBI's on a team with no talent. Put Kemp in the Met lineup in front of Cespedes and watch the numbers get even better. How can anyone say Kemp is not a top player, Please!

He has overachieved to this point and has nowhere to go but down the rest of the season. The guy is basically a scrub.

He has a 0.4 WAR and 104 wRC+, so "scrub" may have been harsh but he is just barely above average.
