Glasnow and Pirates vs the Cardinals and Wainright

kid is as wild as they come, but he could be something special

13 hits allowed in his last 40 innings

opposing hitters hitting .097 against him in that stretch.

Yeah I've been fading pitchers in their debut (not with much success), so I'm going with the rookie in this game.

Pirates on a 7 game win streak as well. Tough to back with the debut but tough to go against while the team is hot. Probably a no play

Glasnow has a career batting average against of .172 for his minor league career. That’s not only the best among current minor league pitching prospects, it’s a magnitude better than anyone else. You have to go back to 2004 (Yusmeiro Petit) to find a minor league starting pitcher who posted a lower average against in a single season with a qualifying number of innings. There is no other starting pitcher in the minors who comes close to Glasnow’s track record of avoiding the sweet spot of the bat. In his minor league career, Glasnow has left with a no-hitter or one-hitter in 25 different minor league starts. He’s allowed six or more hits only five times.

Post #6: So what, this is the majors, not AAA. We'll see. Reminds me of someone else on here bragging & backing LOLA aka Nola, who is on the bench today, they skipped his start in Colorado of all places. LOL. GL with your rookie, hope he is another phenom.
