i remember right after that won.. INDIANS went on a 12 or like 14 Game Win-Streak...

i had a good feeling they would at least win the Pennant..


i put $100 on AL PENNANT (+1200)..

and $100 on the WORLD SERIES (+1600)

now of course, i wish i had done more. I did it purely on
what happens to people emotionally, when someone (LeBron/Cavs)
shatters a barrier for the first time. Many times in life
the obstacles that prevent people from advancing are 100% psychological.
Once it is known to be possible, the obstacle then is removed.

the 5 minute Mile.. Mt. Everest… going to the Moon
even if both of these lose, i feel they got close enoughthat this was a good investment, but Pennant chances look good.

i am a big believer in chaos theory as well (random clustering of events)
odd things happen in groups.

next time a very strange and fortunate thing happens to you, buy a lottery ticket.

winning that first game was huge.

Cubs have to be super-nervous.

it creates absolute MUST-WIN in Game 2,
which is VERY difficult for heavy favorites.

Favored on the road and blown out basically.
BELIEVE_LAND Fans will be impossible tomorrow.

If the Indians get an early lead.. it may be curtains.
Hard to see Cubs coming back from 0-2 if that happens.

i do feel for Cubs fans. while i will enjoy the extra money
if it comes in… it's hard to root against a fans base that has been denied for so long.

Cleveland fans have even LESS though, only CAVS in last 56 yrs.

but look. anything can happen,
are the Cubs good enough to win 3 straight? yes.

really hard to do. but Cavs DID just do it to the Dubs.

not celebrating yet. we all saw what the Cavs did in the Finals.

3-1 is not close to these days. Still like Cleveland, i just think it is
very hard to beat Cubs 3x in a row, @ their own stadium.
