Cubs rise to the occasion playing vs better opponents.
Tough to break a streak like Giants have going, but Peavy will give up 3-4, which should be enough...Giants aren't knocking the cover off the ball lately. If he were vs any other starter for Giants I'd say they have a much better shot.

Coming off 2 so-so starts (by his standards) he will bounce back. Run support has been there all year for him

Last thing I'll say here about this game...during their W-streak, Giants have averaged about 3 runs per game...now they face Arrieta, and I doubt they get any more than 3...do you really think Peavy is going to hold Cubs to 3 runs through 6 innings? It's possible - Cubs in their biggest hitting funk all season and they had a good distance to travel without a day of rest.

Under 7 might be a good play too if you think Peavy will show up.

If I thought Peavy would show up I wouldn't be betting on him. Last game he faced a lineup where the cleanup hitter was none other than Rickie Weeks. Still gave up ton of hits.

Put 250 on Cubs over 4... I was miffed after that off the wall single with the bases loaded and only one run scored plus the 2nd out of the inning, but Peavy didn't let me down the next batter. $$$
