As a Boston native and all Boston sports fan, what the F`k are you doing.
Has the longest streak in the league so far, but barely half way to record.

Shelve this until it hits mid forties at least.

No way that record gets broken. If someone does come close and is 0-1 to start the game, he will get walked the rest of the game intentionally to end be streak. Mark my words.

Are there any odds on him breaking the record? Might want to put some coin on it..

i highly doubt intentionally.. maybe "pitching around" him.

No way someone pitches around some 3 or 4 at bats if he is at 50 games he will get pitched too every at bat in each game he doesn't have a hit

Yea I agree...for many reasons, that record will never be matched....just like the many pitching records,...300 innings pitched in a season, and long ago, do not recall the pitchers, but in a game both pitched 16 innings!!.......that will never be broken!!!!

                            the the
cy young had multiple years over 400 innings!!! Not to correct you, but for some reason i was looking at his stats the other day and noticed that. That is insane. He had like 442 one year im pretty sure.

But the HUGE difference between then and now is the amount of pitches the pitchers throw per inning. I mean he would throw 350 innings and only have 85-115 Ks. That shows you that those pitchers back in the day didnt throw NEARLY as many pitches as the guys today do.
