    How did 5dimes know??
The angels score was angels leading 5-3 after the 4th inning. I looked at the live betting and saw stl cards - 1.5 + 315. Shouldn't it have been angels - 1.5 not the Cardinals?

And of course the cards score 5 runs. Damn should have taken the cards - 1.5 +315

Probably one of those scenarios that if it doesn't win, they don't say anything. But if you win, they say it was a bad line and cancel the wager.

I'm kidding, I have no problem with 5D. But there are books out there that do it.

Just thought it was soo odd. Angels just took a 2 run lead after the 4th inning but the line was stl - 1.5 +315 and angels +1.5 - something I forgot.

He's asking why they'd be offering a team at -1.5 live who was down 2 runs.

It was 5-3 Angels when he posted. Live line showed Cardinals -1.5 despite trailing 5-3.

                Edit: Didn't see post #7.

I think it was the Jared Weaver factor more than anything else. Well that, and when's the last time the Angels actually won a game?

so you think angels, who were up 5-3, should have been -1.5 +310?

They have these lines up all the time on live bets. I dont think this is weird at all. They constantly have both teams at -1.5 lines. They are trying to get you to bet STL at -1.5 +310 because they dont think STL will come back and win by 2. They are hoping you bet STL -1.5 because of the great juice, but if STL ends up winning by 2, then they lose. Oh well. Vegas dont care.

it's uncanny how they come up with this....but Vegas does not make mistakes!! And this is a perfect example,to let "the market"tell you want to do !!

5Dimes does this all the time, its just an alternative line to draw some action if one likes it, they dont care, books want volume, fact of the matter is its not really an easy sell. Cards on road down two runs, which means no matter what happens, Cards have to win the rest of the game at, at least a 4-0 clip with only 5 innings to do it. Everything looks like great value when it hits, but odds to do this was alot less than the +315 given.
