Agreed...Women ruin everything. I can't watch football on Sunday without being complained to, and now i can't even watch a playoff game on a Tuesday night. I swear, I can't buy women sportscasters because it just seems all...forced to me. Like they're reading off a piece of paper to sound like they know what they're talking about.

As far as females go, she was really good I thought. Pretty natural, doesn't overdo it like a lot of females in sports. Doesn't say a lot that we don't already know, but neither do most announcers. Most of the people that have nuggets of great insight (Schilling, Costas) are usually unbearable in other ways.

When you are batting, you have to figure out: Am I playing golf, football, or baseball; then once you figure it out, you are able to hit.

She wasn't bad, but she isn't the best available. The point is, she wouldn't have been hired if she was a man. She got hired BECAUSE she is a woman. There are countless former MLB players out there who could do a better job than her (Boone, Orel, etc.)

Doesn't change the fact that women should not be commentating on men's pro sports. Women don't have signature voices. Dorris Burke is the worst commentator/color analyst in the business. Her credentials are irrelevant. Clyde Drexler is also awful from your hometown state. Amazing player, a ton of knowledge about the game, but doesn't have the voice for broadcasting. Plain and simple.
