Girardi: "i regret not taking Cubs job"
so, i'm listening to this interview..

and Girardi's like " i see what's going over there"

"my kids we're in school here.. they have friends, friend-ships i mean"

"they are a bit older now.. so i can's just force them into new lives"

".. but it hurts me.. well, maybe 'hurt' is a big word"

    "but i am disappointed."

"i'm from Chicago. The Cubs were my favorite team growing up"

i felt really bad for him.. he sounded like a little kid talking

"i could have been part of that"

"winning a Series there.. would have been the icing on the cake"

"that would just have made my whole life."

      "Full circle"

it was sad.. in a theatrical kind of way..
i think the sounds bites would be great use in a documentary

        Ratzz,

I know that you are a writer. Have you written any sports related?

Who doesn't want to win a championship for the team they grew up cheering for, how is this a story?

this has gotta be killing Girardi..

i wonder what kind of guy he is..

                1) Selfless: wishes the Cubs the best, wether he is there or not.

                2) Selfish: seemingly indifferent, but quietly hoping that they do not win the World Series,
as he elected not to manage the Cubs.
