A's have been terrible vs. lefties and this is the first time they have ever faced Miley, which is generally to the pitcher's advantage.

Mileys 0-3 with a 12.34 ERA in days games though.

Sonny Gray is 1-0 with a 0.64 ERA in day games.

Red Sox a power hitting team and Gray has only given up 1 dinger all season.

        Think Gray gets tagged today?

It concerns me that Red Sox are predominately a right handed hitting team.

i agree Harvey should be in beast mode after a loss. Very seldom will you see a pitcher of his caliber have consecutive poor outings.

I just checked the weather in Texas was going to pound KC if it was hot bc flame throwers throw even harder in hot weather but unfortunately that game looks like it will be postponed.

says 100% chance of thunderstorms in Arlington.

I never break down the stats between day and night because leads to too small a sampling and is usually meaningless anyway. Very few pitchers maintain day/night differential throughout careers so annual patterns are usually just variance. Gray is certainly legit no doubt, but Miley is better than his early mainstream stats so far.

Hector Santiago is the perfect slump buster

if they cant hit that guy they might as well hang it up

lots of good right handed hitters in the rockies line-up.. they even hit Kershaw a lil bit

yeah and the A's are not as good of hitters as what he has been up against in his last few starts

also a much more pitcher friendly park than The Rogers Centre and Fenway

Don't see the value at all in Cubs +110.

Harvey off a loss at less than -115...Mets ML play of night. And I hate being a square on this but it's the right angle. Mets dont lose 3 straight. Harvey rights the ship.

But I tried telling this whole forum yesterday that with Sale/WSox and Pom/A's yesterday, and majority all went against.

Yup. Because all you boys look at the Cubs winning the last two games and Harvey losing his last start to the Phillies; worst team in baseball.
