    NY Mets today?
    Morning all,

What do you guys think about NYM @ NYY tonight? Mets have been batting well and DeGrom's pitching well.
I know they will eventually lose a game but when teams are hot... they're hot.... any reason to against them here?
Or is a small play warranted on NYM?

Value in the dog play? The way I see it if they lose, they'll be losing by more than 2 so no action on that RL.

    Thoughts?

Disagree...they have a great chance to cover the +1.5 if not win.
They could be tied in 9th and that would likely be a winner.
    I am playing Mets +1.5

I hear ya. But I got -200 on NYM RL so I'm staying away from that. BOL

Mets on a roll, but had a soft schedule so far:
        - 6 games vs the Braves, who won't be too good this year
        - 3 games vs the Phillies, who will likely finish the NL East last, maybe the worst team in the NL
        - 3 games vs the Marlins, who were off to a very slow start
        - 3 games vs the Nats, who had some injuries at the start of the season.

DeGrom also not as good on the road as he is at home:
        - 12 home starts with a 1.43 ERA and 81 tOPS+
        - 13 road starts with a 3.59 ERA and 118 tOPS+

Michael Pineda has a 1.77 ERA at Yankees stadium. Yankees with a much tougher schedule and nonetheless 9-7 and taking the last 3 at Detroit.

        Nobet for me.

Thanks Posey...still will be on Mets +1.5 @ -185...small play.
Wager amount still the same...just smaller payout than taking Mets ML.

              Really like Under 3.5 (1st 5).
My book has that at -120.

Seems like the whole board is on the Mets... which as a Mets fan, that sucks

Good point, I guess that's why they're dogs and not favorites.... explains it...... now what?

Do we believe in the Mets as this will suffice as their first real test?

I just locked in Mets +1.5 @ -170...think it won't get any better than this.
Waiting to see movement on 1st 5 Under 3.5...sitting at -110...which I like a lot.

At first I loved the Mets here, but was very surprised to see Yanks ML move from -110 to -140! Especially with 55% of public on Mets. This surprises and scares me as a Mets backer, so I may just lay off now. Will watch the line.
