    Quick umpire question
Which website is the most efficient in providing information about which umpires are calling each game, as well as their ball/strike tendencies?

Statfox is probably best but you wont get ump info after game 1 due to not knowing who is on the crew until right before the start of that game.

That's "before game 1 of a series" not "after game 1"

I just go to MLB.com, tonights ump is yesterdays 1B ump, and covers has excellent ump stats. Umps are just 1 stat that goes into handicapping baseball - don't give them too much importance.

Great site for ump stats: http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/t...b/umpires.aspx

covers also has solid ump stats so far as year-by-year over/under history, strike percentage, etc.

Dan Kelly is correct about MLB.com being best place to find out who is behind home plate at start of series. After that, umps rotate clockwise, so once the series starts, you know ump order for rest of series.

Right, my mistake. That is what I meant.
