I swear, when this dude isn't getting lit up like a Christmas tree and is actually pitching well, he gets hurt and has to come out after like three innings.

I think it's Karma for shutting it down in the post-season two years ago.

I used to like the National's team but I can't find myself rooting for them after they did that. It's not like they're the Yankees or Cardinals, teams that contend every year. They're the Nationals. They should have went for it that year.

As for Strasburg, would pitching a few more games in the post-season that year really hurt him? What would that have been, a hand full more of starts?

When has as a player ever hurt themselves "more" from playing? If you're healthy, you're healthy. These dudes are young and have been playing baseball their entire life. I doubt pitching once a week like three more times would have killed him.

When I get mentally stressed at my job, I can't just shut it down for a while....I'm not making millions to work every 5th day either.

FWIW, Kinsler and Cespedes own Iwakuma. Victor Martinez has also hit him pretty hard.

Given the circumstances, I think Tigers are pretty attractive at that number.
