Already locked in Under 7 in Yanks game.
My thinking is cooler weather, Yanks vs lefties results in many Unders, and Tanaka at home is tough and Stros not lighting up scoreboard lately. 2 solid pens too. Not a big bet by any means.

Wow. What a tough game to cap. Houston is hot, the Yankees are cold. Keuchel is coming off three days rest and everyone says that isn't a problem. Well, it IS a problem and anyone who has pitched knows this. Along with a lack of rest, Houston has one of the worst road records in the league. People say that THIS isn't a problem. WTF? This would be a major problem if I were Houston. Keuchel has a losing record on the road, ERA of 3.88.

Along with this, the Yankees have been there, done that. Tanaka is rested, maybe too rested. But we just need five innings from him. He's an ace, and he'll be ready. He's in a nice, friendly stadium. The Yankees are cold right now, but throw that out the window.

If this were being played in Houston, well then, you throw a crapload of money on the Astros. But it ain't. Houston could have had home field, but they lost it. The Yankees backed into the playoffs, but it's a new season.

Let's roll.

I am totally opposite your plays. Why are you backing this Yanks team that has showed no life lately? Well, I guess you answered that above...and your thinking seems solid. But I have some other thoughts for why I'm backing Stros - and at +1.5 I might add.

I thought my Houston +1.5 bet was pretty safe...parlayed with LAD (to win their series).

As far as the O/U for the game, it's anyone's guess. I like both pens and I don't see either starter giving up much.
Probably lands on 7. and if Yanks win 4-3, how can we go wrong??

Not gonna lie...I did end up sprinkling some on Yanks ML...One of those rare times I follow too much of what I read on sbr.
My Under and Yanks ML cancelled out.
so now I have LAD series vs Mets at +117...so I'll ride with that.

On to manana...Under 6 (-130)...only play...like Under FF, but hate the juice of -150. I could go Under 2.5, but chance of it being 2-1 after 5 just as good as it being 1-1.
I can see a 3-2 final tomorrow...like I thought tonight, but Yanks did nothing.
