Cubs are something like 11-28 in games they score under than three runs & 11-4 (L15 games, since 1st of AUG) on the UNDER. Horriable. So if you don't get your three runs off Lackey before you 6th or 7th you might be screwed. Arrieta isn't perfect.

Arrieta is pretty close to perfect. Since missing the first 6 weeks he's been as dominant as any pitcher not named Kershaw. 20 of his last 23 starts as quality starts. Sub-1 ERA in September. When he's on he's pretty close to unhittable.

Yeah, in fairness to the Orioles though they knew he was good but he just could never quite put it together there, he was 28 y/o and it just seemed like a change of scenery type situation. Orioles doing pretty dang good but imagine if they had Arietta in their rotation right now. They'd be WS faves.
