Carlos Martinez is one of the Cardinals' top prospects and was one of their better relievers before being inserted into the rotation. He throws upwards of 100 miles an hour.

He will pitch well until he needs Tommy John Surgery, he is a young (23) and pitching up to 100 MPH and pitching at that level screams Tommy John to me. Just a guess but I could be wrong. Only time will tell.
