This has square written all over it. Verlander against SEATTLE...Plus money??!?!? I understand that he's struggled recently and that Seattle's version of Nomo has pitched well..but you would bank on a CY young winner and probably the best pitcher in the last 5-6 years would figure it out sooner than later correct? Someone talk me out of laying 10 units on Tigers. What do i not see here? The Tigers although have struggled recently they are still a top 2-3 team in the MLB right now. I don't get this.

Iwakuma pretty beastly at home this year. In 23 home innings this year with ERA of 1.57 and WHIP of .73

Iwakuma played 14 innings against Detroit last year and allowed 0 runs. All of those innings were played against Verlander. One home. One away.

So verlander is due...my first instict was to fade verlander...2 pitchers headed in opposite directions I think the square play is the mariners.

Usually not the starters you have to worry about. Hard to bet Detroit in close games while Phil Coke is still employed.

Good thing is I have a nice parlay with Heat ML, Blackhawks +1.5, Indians, OKC ML...just need OKC to come through tomorrow.

Bad thing is I was selective in choosing your plays that I felt the same way about...Card, Jays.
Then I looked at almost every angle in this game and felt M's was the right play. Do NOT play Mariners unless the King is pitching!!!
