Not quite sure what you like about KC. It's a terrible line....a team that is dead in the water, cant hit a long ball. Up against the most confident team in baseball, who is torching teams with the long ball. KC should be about +130 to +140 with Shields tonight.

I am a big Shields guy, I still don't think he gets the recognition that he deserves. Dickey is closer to his proper level now than he was when he had that insane Cy Young year, he is a 4.00 ERA type guy and his walks are up to 4.08 per nine innings this year. And i don't see him getting any better because he has actually been a bit lucky so far, allowing a .262 BABIP.

No question I like Shields, but +109 is a porous line. It should be close to a quarter higher considering the Royals struggles offensively, and the Jays are just mashing.

exactly. However the Rogers Centre is a great place to hit.

But no way would i bet against the scalding hot Jays at home with their ace on the bump.
