Logic would say Texas wins because they just beat Detroit. There is no free lunch. The little I have learned is to not bet obvious plays where odds look funny. Maybe Vegas knows gas can wil have a sea of a strike zone and will mow down the Texas lineup.

Gotta remember though... books aren't trying to put out what they think is the accurate line... they want to put out the line that they think will get equal action on both sides and profit off the juice (well in the case of moneylines, they want more action on the favorites than underdogs but you get what I'm saying)

Agree, though I'd say if that were the case, they'd make Minnesota +110 minimum. At a -105 open, the vast majority of the $$$ is going to be on Texas.

I don't think I've ever been as perplexed by a baseball line as I am by this one. Usual signs all point to Texas. Their offence is clicking, facing a below average starting pitcher, Twins first game home after a west coast road trip, Twins bats are cold, Tepesch decent pitcher, etc.

I wouldn't have been surprised for the line to open at Tex -140.
