What's the deal with Price getting these crazy lines? The Rays are shit and his numbers are decent enough, but he's getting King Felix kind of lines and his record isn't even good this year.

I guess the bookies are waiting for his sabermetrics converting into wins and lowering his ERA.
His K/9 and BB/9 are the best of his career, his BABIP is slightly too high and his LOB% is too low. His ERA is at 3.97, but his xFIP (2.66) and SIERA (2.59) suggest that he is pitching very well in general.

Although I don't know what half these acronyms mean, I appreciate the jist of what you're saying. I need to bone up on these though, I'm seeing more and more of these on the forum recently and I'm feeling left behind
