Biff I was wondering why you love the Marlins so much...I know they are beastly at home and Koehler is solid, but the Marlins top hitters don't fare so well vs the opposing starter today. I definetly lean Marlins but its not eye popping to me...I do love the Tigers they destroy Baker historically.

Braun out and Gomez questionable with back injury that seems to be affecting him a lot (i've seen him grimace on a few swings this week), and of course no Aramis Ramirez. Brewers offense really struggling right now (averaging less than 3 runs/game L10 games) and will be very short-handed. Marlins haven't faced Estrada since 2012 and this Marlins team at home is simply a different animal offensively from their team last couple of years. Marlins 19-6 at home with 12 of those wins by 2+ runs; Brewers 14-10 road with 8 of the 10 losses by 2+ runs. Of Koehler's 5 wins, 4 have been by 2+ runs; all 4 of Estrada's losses have been by 2+ runs and he's been struggling last four starts. I like Marlins to win a lot and i think that there's a lot of value in RL at +200. BOL whatever you decide.

That translates to 2 units on Miami -1. If Miami wins by 2+, 2 units are won; if Miami loses, 2 units are lost; and if Miami wins by 1, 1 unit is won and 1 unit is lost. Make your own adjustments with juice.

Just about every bit of data backed a Marlins W last night. I capped that game like 7 a.m. Friday and came to the same conclusions. I did say to myself, well if Gomez is backed in the lineup maybe I'll lay off. Nah I bet it anyhow. Dude goes off at 4 for 5 with three doubles.

Still it came down to Koehler. He got smoked. Partying on South Beach or what? Next up on Wednesday he takes the hill at Washington, which he held to 1 H over 7 IP earlier this year.

Yeah, my only mistake was going 2u. Beyond that, if my numbers, model and methodology like it, i play it and if i lose i simply move on. Also got excellent numbers on both ML and RL, so i got that part correct. Fortunately, also hit my over angle in Motown for 2u which essentially made it a wash. Oh well, onward and upward.

Went ahead and played under on the assumption that roof will be closed. Under getting steamed and with temps near 90, no way will roof be open for 4 pm game. I'm going to be in and out most of the day (tee-ball at 10:30, playing goff this afternoon) so I'm booking now and trusting my preparation.

Also will strongly consider Rangers/Tigers FF over when it opens (hopefully before i have to leave for tee-ball, dammit).
